Ministry of Public Security has new spokesperson

As assigned, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security, is the Spokesperson of this ministry, from June 1, 2025.

On the afternoon of May 30, the Ministry of Public Security informed that, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, Decree No. 9/2017/ND-CP dated February 9, 2017 of the Government detailing the speaking and providing information to the press of state administrative agencies, the Ministry of Public Security provided information about the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security from June 1, 2025.

Specifically, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of Office, was assigned the task of being the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security.

The previous spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security was Major General Hoang Anh Tuyen.

Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan was born in 1978, his hometown is Hai Phong City. Before becoming Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security in early 2025, he was Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police.
