As one of the characters in episode 136, the situation of Truong Thi Nhu Y (2011) makes many people feel sorry. Nhu Y is an 8th grade student at Ngo Quyen Secondary School, O Mon District, Can Tho City. Nhu Y is an unfortunate girl, since childhood she did not know who her father was. She grew up in the love and care of her mother. To her, her mother is everything.

However, cruel fate snatched away the mother she loved most. Before that, Nhu Y's mother suffered a stroke and was bedridden for over three months, requiring a breathing tube to sustain her life. In December 2024, her condition worsened, and she suffered a ruptured blood vessel in her brain and passed away. Nhu Y was sleeping next to her mother when she died, but she was unaware of it, and this still haunts her to this day.

Before she passed away, Nhu Y's mother did many freelance jobs such as growing mushrooms, processing fish, selling vegetables, etc. Outside of school hours, Nhu Y often helped her mother with her work. Life in the past, though lacking in material comforts, was always filled with joy because her mother was by her side. However, now she feels almost alone, lacking both her father's affection and her mother's love.

Nhu Y is an orphan, living alone in an old house to take care of her mother's incense.

After her mother passed away, Nhu Y lived alone in the old house. Her aunt wanted to take Nhu Y back to live with her to take care of her, but she did not agree. She wanted to stay home to take care of her mother, and did not want to leave the place filled with memories of the two of them. However, her house was degraded in many places, the space was damp and often leaked when it rained. The house was next to the river, the wooden floor where she washed clothes and dishes was rotten, extremely dangerous. However, for Nhu Y, only at home could she feel the warmth of her mother's love, so she did not want to leave, even if she had to be alone.

Loving her orphaned niece, Nhu Y's youngest aunt lived next door and took care of all her food and living expenses. She had two small children, and her youngest uncle worked as a hired gardener so his income was not high, but her aunt and uncle never thought of abandoning Nhu Y. She was also very understanding, often helping her aunt take care of her younger sister, doing housework, and she often ate at home before going to school to save money for her aunt.

It can be said that Nhu Y has been strong and tried very hard to be able to think so maturely, that makes me feel even more heartbroken" , Thien Minh shared. He gave Nhu Y a new pair of glasses, to him the gift is small but can contribute to creating better conditions for her to study and change her life.

Runner-up Ha Thu couldn't hide her emotions and hugged Nhu Y to comfort her. The beauty queen expressed her admiration for Nhu Y's mature thinking; even though her mother had passed away, she insisted on staying home to take care of the ancestral rites. However, she was also very worried about Nhu Y living alone in the old house, even though her aunt lived next door. Seeing that the house door wasn't secure, Ha Thu decided to give her a new door, hoping the orphaned girl could sleep soundly in her own home.

Runner-up Ha Thu and talented Thien Minh offered Nhu Y's family many words of encouragement, comfort, and practical support.

In addition to sharing and encouraging the characters, photographer Thien Minh and runner-up Ha Thu also contributed to the challenges, helping the children bring home valuable prizes from Hoa Sen Group . After the competitions, Truong Thi Nhu Y's family came in third, receiving 18 million VND. Tran Thi Tuyet Nhan's family came in second, receiving 25 million VND. Phan Nguyen Duc Dung's family came in first, completing the special challenge and bringing home 59 million VND.

During the recording session in Can Tho City, artist Hoang Map suddenly appeared to watch the program. In addition, runner-up Ha Thu also gave Tuyet Nhan an electric bicycle. Photographer Thien Minh sponsored Tuyet Nhan's living expenses while she was studying for the university entrance exam. At the same time, he promised that if Tuyet Nhan passed the university entrance exam, he would continue to take care of her living expenses for the first year of university. Accompanying Thien Minh, Lam Vy Da also decided to support Tuyet Nhan's first year of tuition if she continued to pursue her university dream.
