FPT makes strategic investment in Korea's leading company SAP

FPT, through its member company in Korea, has signed a strategic investment agreement and a comprehensive service agreement (MSA) with Blueward, Korea's leading independent IT consulting and service company in the field of system application programming (SAP/ERP).

Representatives ofFPT and Blueward at the signing ceremony of the strategic investment agreement and master service agreement (MSA).

Accordingly, FPT will own up to 10% of Blueward's shares. This investment is expected to be completed before Blueward's IPO in 2028.

Through this cooperation, the two sides aim to enhance SAP/ERP implementation capacity, improve consulting expertise and consolidate their competitive position in the Korean market. Specifically, FPT and Blueward will leverage each side's strengths to jointly implement large-scale digital transformation programs for leading enterprises in Korea.

Blueward has advantages in SAP/ERP consulting, a strong customer relationship network and a deep understanding of the Korean business environment. FPT will bring a team of nearly 2,000 SAP experts with extensive international experience in implementing large-scale digital transformation and business transformation programs.

The two sides will apply a model of co-provision of products, services and co-deployment to speed up progress, optimize costs and improve service quality for corporate customers.

This cooperation will also support FPT to expand strategic SAP/ERP projects and services in many areas, from consulting, implementing S/4HANA (New generation enterprise resource management solution based on SAP HANA database), SAP BTP (SAP Enterprise Technology Platform), SAP AI (SAP AI-integrated products and services) and system operations management.

In addition, based on Blueward's financial consulting strengths and FPT's data, AI and cloud capabilities, the two sides will also expand cooperation to the financial and capital markets sectors to provide integrated solutions for brokerage, clearing and settlement, risk management, market surveillance, IFRS reporting and SAP FI/CO integration.
