Happy Buddha's Birthday! Gifts given to workers in Thanh Hoa.

On the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday (Buddhist calendar 2570 - Gregorian calendar 2026), on May 31st, Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, visited and congratulated the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Thanh Hoa province.

Leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front congratulated the Thanh Hoa Buddhist Association on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday celebration.

Respecting the significant contributions of the Venerable Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers of Thanh Hoa province in building and strengthening national unity, the Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Nguyen Anh Tuan, sent his best wishes on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday and expressed his hope that the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Thanh Hoa province would continue to uphold the spirit of protecting the nation and ensuring the well-being of the people, with the Dharma accompanying the nation, leading monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to live virtuous lives, actively contributing to the development of Thanh Hoa province; and successfully organize the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Thanh Hoa province, term 2026-2031, opening a new phase of development for the provincial Buddhist Association.

On behalf of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Thanh Hoa province, Venerable Thich Tam Dinh, Head of the Executive Board, respectfully thanked the central agencies, Party committees, and authorities at all levels of Thanh Hoa province for their affection and concern for the monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers. He also affirmed that the provincial Buddhist Association will continue to unite and guide monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to fully comply with the policies and laws of the Party and State, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, and contribute to building a prosperous and strong homeland.

Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited and presented gifts to union members undergoing treatment at the Thanh Hoa Provincial Oncology Hospital.

Next, the delegation from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited and presented gifts to two workers facing difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.

Reportedly, on this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented nearly 1,700 gifts to trade union members in Thanh Hoa province.

"Gifts from the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union" practically encourage and assist workers in Thanh Hoa province to overcome difficulties and conquer serious illnesses and occupational diseases.
