Dr. Thang Van Phuc, former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Interior and President of the Vietnam Record Holders Association, and Dr. Tran Ngoc Tang, Vice President of the Vietnam Record Holders Association and former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, presented the certificate to the unit that established the record.
The two record-breaking products this time are “Love in the Bay” – the largest outdoor music and light show on a cruise ship in Vietnam, held in the heritage area of Ha Long Bay, and “Ambassador Cruise II” – a cruise ship offering relaxation, entertainment, and exploration of the World Natural Heritage site of Ha Long Bay, with a 5-story design and the largest capacity in Vietnam.
“Love in the Bay” is staged and performed on an outdoor floating stage located on the 4th floor of the Ambassador Cruise II, currently operating in Ha Long Bay. The stage, sound, and lighting systems are specially designed to suit the outdoor setting at sea, ensuring both safety and professional performance standards, offering many new experiences for tourists. In addition to consistently creating unique combinations of experiential tourism , the Ambassador II cruise ship, with a capacity of up to 600 seats, has become a new symbol of serving the needs of tourists visiting and experiencing Ha Long Bay.
This tourism product combines sunset viewing, culinary experiences, and music enjoyment in Ha Long Bay.
The record-breaking event also provided an opportunity for investors, tourism managers, and related businesses to gain a clearer understanding of the development trends of tourism products combining relaxation, entertainment, and nature exploration, while promoting innovative solutions for sustainable tourism development, environmental protection, and preservation of the cultural and natural values of Ha Long Bay.
This is the first time in Ha Long that a cruise ship has been awarded two Vietnamese records simultaneously. Previously, in 2014, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded the certificate for the largest artificial marina in Vietnam to Tuan Chau Port – Ha Long Bay.
