Immediately after the opening ceremony, the players entered the competition in all 8 events at the Final Round of the 2025 National Billiards & Snooker Championship.
Taking place from June 1 to 11, with 230 excellent athletes from 13 units nationwide, this year's final round has 8 competition events. Notably, this year's tournament added 2 events for women: Pool 9-ball and Carom 3-cushion. The matches apply the Billiards & Snooker Competition Rules of the Vietnam Sports Department and current International Laws.
This year’s tournament features top players such as Tran Quyet Chien, Nguyen Quoc Nguyen and Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu, who have had impressive achievements in previous seasons. The final round promises to bring dramatic matches and classy moves.

Mr. Doan Tuan Anh, Head of Billiards & Snooker, Vietnam Sports Department, said that this final round, all events gathered the top Vietnamese athletes such as Pool, Carom 1 cushion, Carom 3 cushion, Snooker... This is the most important tournament in the national competition system. The tournament is not only a playground for players to compete but also an opportunity to select outstanding faces for the national team to compete in international tournaments. In addition, this tournament is a good opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their talent, bravery and noble sportsmanship; an opportunity for delegations to exchange and learn, contributing to promoting the strong development of the Billiards & Snooker movement in Vietnam.
Mr. Dinh Nguyen Hoang, Head Coach of the Billiards & Snooker Team of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, said that after round 1, the truly excellent athletes were present in the final round, athletes such as Phan Hoang, Nguyen Phuc Long, Phung Kien Tuong (Women's 3-cushion Carom) are still the pillars of the team.
"The female players of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Team have been selected and trained by us for many years, and have actually achieved results in domestic and international competitions in 2025. I have complete confidence in the performance of the female athletes in this year's final round. I hope that the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Team, when participating in the final round of the 2025 National Billiards & Snooker Championship, will achieve high results in the expected sports, specifically Men's 9-ball Pool, Men's 10-ball Pool, and Women's 3-cushion Carom," added Mr. Dinh Nguyen Hoang.
