On June 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Luong district to hand over and put into use the project to preserve the traditional Tay ethnic village in Ban Dong hamlet, On Luong commune (Phu Luong).

The project has a total investment of nearly 9 billion VND, divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 of the project, after 2 years of implementation, has so far restored 5 stilt houses in Ban Dong, and built a community house with the identity of the Tay people in the hamlet. In addition, the intangible heritages of the Tay people such as Then singing and Vi singing have also been restored and preserved.

The project to preserve the traditional Tay ethnic village in Ban Dong hamlet aims to restore, preserve and promote traditional cultural values, support cultural facilities and equipment for ethnic minorities here, and develop community tourism .
