This is a positive signal, showing that the need for access to digital law among people and businesses is very large.
To complete the National Law Portal, Mr. Phan Hong Nguyen said that the Department of Dissemination, Legal Education and Legal Aid will develop regulations for the management and operation of the Portal; at the same time, it will be in charge of the content of sections such as law dissemination, legal aid and business support...; continue to coordinate with businesses to support API integration and operate legal AI chatbots.
Previously, during a working session with relevant units on the progress of completing the National Legal Portal on the afternoon of June 2, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized that for the Portal to operate effectively, there needs to be high determination, close coordination, synchronization and methodical coordination between relevant units inside and outside the Ministry. In particular, it is necessary to promote lessons learned from the initial construction phase, continue to promote the public-private partnership model on the principles of transparency, clarity and fairness.
Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh requested a clear division of tasks among units under the Ministry of Justice, in which the Department of Legal Dissemination, Education and Legal Aid is the overall leading agency. In the immediate future, the Department needs to review and clearly define the responsibilities of each unit, ensure that the legal database is accurate, and have a stable operation plan according to the current mechanism; propose to develop a set of indicators to measure the level of interest and access to the law of people and businesses; develop a coordination regulation with the Government Electronic Information Portal in collecting opinions on draft legal documents.
The Minister directed the immediate establishment of a specialized working group to receive and process information and feedback systems to expand the scope of reception to remove legal bottlenecks for people and businesses. Regarding legal AI, focus on developing and integrating authentication with VNeID to enhance reliability and personalization.
