Bac Giang city has 105 products achieving 3-star OCOP

These are the products: Frozen potatoes of Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Tan My ward; Tam Thuy pho noodles, Tam Thuy rice vermicelli of Tam Thuy Bac Giang Limited Liability Company, headquartered in Dinh Ke ward; Fresh Food ham, green rice sausage, beef sausage of Ngoc Vu Ham and Sausage Production and Trading Cooperative, Tan My ward; Co Tien Huyen dried chicken, Co Tien Huyen Bakery dried pork, Co Tien Huyen Bakery pate of Tran Quoc Huong business household, Xuong Giang ward; Tien Loi baked cakes, Tien Loi sticky rice cakes, Tien Loi pork sausage, Tien Loi peanut candy of Tien Loi Cake Production Facility, in Tran Phu ward; Da Mai yellow sticky rice wine of Da Mai Wine Cooperative; Tan My dried tea of Hoang Gia Clean Food Cooperative, Tan My ward; bell peppers, fruit tomatoes, coral cauliflower of Yen Dung Clean Vegetable Cooperative, Tien Dung commune; lotus frogs, squirrel grape jars of Hoang Vu ceramic enterprise, Tu Mai commune; Turmeric honey pills of Nham Bien Agricultural and Service Cooperative, Nham Bien ward; cereal sprout tea, dried lotus seeds, lotus seed powder, green banana powder of Thuy Duong Clean Agricultural Cooperative, Nham Bien ward.

It is known that in recent times, with the support of the city's professional agencies and local authorities, the owners of the products have actively innovated technology, applied technical advances in production and processing; improved product packaging, and at the same time paid attention to completing documents to ensure regulations.

From now on, products recognized as achieving the above star rating will use the OCOP program logo and star rating printed on the product packaging; and will be rewarded and supported according to regulations. The certificate for the products is valid for 36 months from the date of signing the decision.

The City People's Committee assigned the City Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise on the organization of announcement and award of OCOP product classification certificates to entities. Coordinate and guide communes, wards, and entities to use and print the OCOP program logo and star rankings on recognized products according to regulations. Organize surprise and periodic inspections and propose handling measures when violations occur.

The city requests that businesses, cooperatives, and business households be responsible for maintaining product quality according to the program's regulations. At the same time, continue to standardize and upgrade products to achieve higher rankings.

Thus, by the end of May 2025, Bac Giang city has a total of 105 products achieving 3-star OCOP, leading the whole province.
