On the morning of June 2, the National Assembly Office said that as planned, the 46th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place over 6 days (June 3-6, 2025 and June 9-10, 2025) at the National Assembly House.
At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will spend a lot of time on law-making work.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the reception, explanation and revision of: the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Courts; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Civil Procedure Code, the Administrative Procedure Law, the Juvenile Justice Law, the Bankruptcy Law and the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Product and Goods Quality.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); the draft Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended); the draft Law on Chemicals (amended); the draft Law on Atomic Energy (amended); the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising; the draft Law on Special Consumption Tax (amended); the draft Law on Corporate Income Tax (amended); the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies.
The draft laws reviewed and commented on by the National Assembly Standing Committee at the Session include: Draft Law on Employment (amended); draft Law on Personal Data Protection; draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the People's Procuracy; draft Law on Management and Investment of State Capital in Enterprises; draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Bidding, Law on Investment under the Public-Private Partnership model, Law on Customs, Law on Export Tax and Import Tax, Law on Investment, Law on Public Investment, Law on Management and Use of Public Assets; draft Law on Teachers; draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy.
In addition, there are the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Enterprises; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on State Budget (amended); the draft Law on Digital Technology Industry; the draft Law on Science , Technology and Innovation; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions; the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Penal Code (amended); the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Criminal Procedure Code.
At the meeting on June 5, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the project on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units in 2025; consider and approve in principle resolutions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in 2025.
At the meeting on June 6, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on amending or abolishing the financial management mechanism and special income of state administrative agencies and units; and give opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of special mechanisms and policies to invest in developing the railway system.
