The congress consulted 115 people to participate in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, term I, 2025 - 2030. The first conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, term I, unanimously agreed to elect Mr. Le Tri Thanh (Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, term I) to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, term 2025 - 2030. The conference also consulted to elect 8 members to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, term 2025 - 2030; agreed on the list of 18 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 1st National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that the Congress took place in the context of the country and Da Nang facing many new opportunities and challenges; at the same time, she suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Nang city should proactively participate in solving major local issues, mobilizing people's consensus in planning, site clearance, implementing key projects, developing infrastructure, promoting the private economy and family economy. The Front focuses on social security, implementing the movements of "5 no", "3 yes", "4 safe", maintaining political and social stability to build a modern and unique Da Nang. On the basis of thoroughly grasping the viewpoint "people are the root", the Front must promote the strength of more than 3 million people, orient all activities towards the people, care for the vulnerable, thoroughly resolve legitimate aspirations and promote the right to mastery through the "People's Forum" and "Month of listening to people speak".

According to Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Le Tri Thanh, the Congress has special significance, marking a new development step of the Front's work in the new period. This is an opportunity to assess the situation of the great national unity bloc in the city and the contributions of all classes of people to the city's development in the past term, especially in the context after the merger of Quang Nam province with Da Nang city and to propose an Action Program for the term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress set out the motto “Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development”, identified the requirement to perfect the organization of the Fatherland Front at the commune level, build a coordination regulation with the People's Council and People's Committee at the same level; at the same time, reviewed and perfected the Front working committee in the village and residential group. The Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations at both levels issued action programs to implement the Congress resolution in conjunction with the tasks of each organization.

In digital transformation, the goal is for 100% of units to operate smoothly with the management software, effectively exploit the "Digital Front Portal", ensure 24/7 feedback reception; over 95% of activities apply information technology and at least 80% of meetings follow the "paperless" model.

The Congress requires 100% of units to organize the "Month of Listening to People's Voices" every year; each commune and ward has at least one residential area that meets the standards of "unity, prosperity, happiness" and each residential area builds at least one sustainable community security model. The city strives to mobilize about 45 billion VND from socialized resources, of which the "For the Poor" Fund reaches 35 billion VND and deploys a pilot social security model.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of the city for the 2025-2030 term identified three key areas: Operating a new organizational model associated with digital transformation; improving the quality of Front officials; innovating the work of receiving and monitoring people's petitions, strengthening supervision, social criticism and promoting the role of consultation in the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". The Congress proposed six major action programs on strengthening propaganda and mobilizing people; consolidating social consensus; protecting the legitimate rights of the people; improving the quality of supervision and criticism; promoting the right to mastery and self-management in building residential areas; expanding people-to-people diplomacy and mobilizing overseas Vietnamese resources.

On that basis, the Front aims to build a streamlined, effective and efficient apparatus; innovate operating methods; promote the application of digital technology and improve the capacity of staff to meet the requirements of the new stage.
