• Ca Mau Enterprises Turn to the Central Region Through Charity Pickleball Tournament
  • Sending all love to the "flood center" of Central Vietnam
  • Ca Mau students contribute love to send to Central region

In recent days, in Ca Mau, many philanthropists have joined hands to donate school supplies to students and ao dai to female teachers, contributing to the hope that the light of knowledge will continue to spread.

Each ao dai is carefully checked before being delivered to teachers in the Central region.

Through news and reports on television as well as social networks, many philanthropists understand that people in the Central region not only lack necessities, but most urgently need resources to rebuild their lives.

In the education sector alone, many schools were severely devastated by floods, with facilities severely damaged; students no longer had school supplies, and teachers had their clothes and many essential items swept away by the floods.

For that reason, Ca Mau people joined hands to contribute learning and teaching materials, helping to share difficulties and reduce the hardship of teachers and students in flood-affected areas on their journey back to school.

A busy working session of the charity group at Phat To Pagoda (An Xuyen ward), preparing relief goods to be sent to the Central region.

Ms. Dinh Ha Duyen, owner of Tin Tin Café (Tan Thanh ward), shared: “I think after the flood, people will need more practical things. Students need books, because during the school year, many publishers will not print additional textbooks. Therefore, we donate textbooks so that students have enough books to go to school. And teachers definitely need ao dai, because the flood swept everything away. We select very carefully, the ao dai must be new and good before sending.”

Ao dai are carefully classified and packaged to avoid moisture and damage during transportation.

Nearly 500 ao dai sets with various designs and colors have been classified and carefully packaged for teachers of all ages to easily choose from. All are new or neatly laundered, with the hope that when teachers receive them, they will feel more motivated to continue bringing the light of knowledge to students after days of struggling with natural disasters.

Ms. Quach Thai Ngoc Tran (Tan Thanh ward) said: "Many female civil servants are very enthusiastic in preparing new ao dai to donate. We hope this little bit of kindness will give teachers more motivation to return to school after the flood."

In addition to the Ao Dai, school supplies, student clothes and dry food are also given special attention. After the flood, parents have to focus on restoring their homes, so preparing full meals for their children is difficult. Therefore, if schools are supported with milk and dry food during school hours, it will help reduce the financial burden on families, as well as take good care of the children's health.

Venerable Thich Nhuan Tri personally checked each bag and each book to load them onto the bus to the Central region.

We mobilized support for teachers and students in flood-affected areas, including notebooks, school bags, pens and some dry food to help them quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods. We also contacted schools in the downstream area of Song Ba Hydropower Plant, where every time the hydropower plant releases floodwaters, they are directly affected, to know the number of teachers and students, and from there prepare appropriate gifts for each level of education,” said Venerable Thich Nhuan Tri, Abbot of Phuoc Dien Buddhist Temple (Tran Van Thoi Commune).

Ao dai, notebooks… from the southernmost region of the country are being sent by truck to the beloved Central region. Floods can sweep away many things, but faith in life and knowledge will never be extinguished, because there are still millions of hearts and arms ready to help every day./.
