
Implementing the motto "where there are women, there is a movement", the Executive Committee of the Commune Women's Union regularly thinks, researches, and innovates methods to improve the effectiveness of its activities. In particular, it focuses on maintaining and expanding models of culture, arts, sports, humanitarian charity, women saving to help each other develop the economy ... thereby creating a vibrant emulation movement, attracting women to participate. In particular, the Commune Women's Union has taken advantage of and promoted the positive factors of social networks such as Zalo, Facebook, and the fanpage of the Commune Women's Union to mobilize members and women to participate in activities and emulation movements launched by the Union, to propagate typical good people and good deeds... This is an environment that receives a lot of positive interaction from women today, so the Union propagates quite conveniently and promptly. In addition, the Union at all levels regularly cares and visits female cadres and members who are sick, and families with deceased relatives. The branches innovated the content and methods of operation, paid attention to the needs and interests of members, and focused on building specific models to attract women to the association. Currently, the whole commune has over 3,600 members operating in 25 branches, with an attraction rate of 85%.

In the past 5 years, the Commune Women's Union and its branches have donated and coordinated to donate 814 gifts to members, poor women, seriously ill members and families in difficult circumstances in the commune with a total value of 618 million VND and 2,550 kg of rice; effectively maintained the "Love Rice Jar" model with nearly 700 people being helped; sponsored 6 orphans in difficult circumstances; donated 104 health insurance cards and health insurance cards to members and poor children, supported the construction and repair of 3 charity homes for poor women with a total amount of over 241 million VND and hundreds of working days. Ms. Dang Thi Thanh, Tan De village shared: Because my husband and son died early, I have lived alone for many years, plus old age, poor health, unable to work, no income, living in a dilapidated level 4 house. Thanks to the attention of the Women's Union at all levels and all levels and sectors, I have a solid house. I am very grateful and hope that many poor households will also receive support like me to have a better life.
Implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean" and "5 yes, 3 clean", all levels of the association actively propagate and mobilize members and women to handle and classify waste at the source, contributing to reducing the amount of waste that must be treated. Over the past 5 years, the entire association has helped 178 households achieve "5 no, 3 clean", "5 yes, 3 clean", contributing to raising the number of households achieving "5 no, 3 clean", "5 yes, 3 clean" in the commune to 85.8%; at the same time, there are 18 projects and tasks contributing to the construction of new rural areas. In economic development, all levels of the association focus on propagating and mobilizing female members to actively change the structure of crops and livestock, and apply science and technology to production. The commune's Women's Union has coordinated to organize many conferences to transfer science and technology to female members; improve the quality of management, and effectively use loan capital. The Association has secured loans from banks for members to develop the economy with an amount of nearly 29 billion VND; established 2 cooperative groups for the production and trading of flowers, ornamental plants, and leafy plants for women to exchange and help each other in economic development... Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Theu, a member of the Women's Association of Bong Dien Bac village, said: To increase income, recently, my family has boldly switched to the model of raising Koi fish and growing Dien grapefruit. With 1.5 hectares of Koi pond, on average, about 3 tons are sold each year. Compared to traditional fish, Koi fish are 2-3 times more economically efficient. In addition, my family also grows 200 Dien grapefruit trees and 10,000 leafy plants. Thanks to that, the family's income has improved, life has been improved, and I myself have the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities in the locality.

In the coming time, the Women's Union of Tan Thuan commune will focus on consolidating and building a strong organization, operating professionally and effectively; promoting autonomy, innovation, creativity, and aspirations of women of all classes; at the same time, actively participating in building a strong Party, government, and organization, contributing to building Tan Thuan commune into an advanced new rural commune, a model new rural commune.
