At the conference, representatives of departments and branches provided guidance on the process, forms and criteria for reviewing and delimiting ethnic minority areas; and clarified the method of synthesizing and determining areas according to regulations.

According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee will organize a review and delimitation of particularly difficult hamlets; communes in areas I, II, III, as a basis for implementing ethnic policies for the period 2026-2030. The delimitation must ensure objectivity, accurately reflect the natural, socio-economic conditions and population characteristics of ethnic minority areas; at the same time serve to integrate data into socio-economic development programs and projects and complete the province's ethnic minority database.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches, representatives of People's Committee leaders and officials in charge of communes and wards in the province.

According to comrade Ngo Vu Thang, the conference aims to proactively and effectively ensure the implementation and implementation of the review and delimitation of ethnic minority areas in Ca Mau province in the period of 2026-2030 according to the prescribed schedule. Through the conference, the contents will be unified so that departments, branches, specialized offices and divisions under the departments can provide more specific guidance on the criteria. From there, localities will have a basis and basis to evaluate and review the areas urgently, quickly, accurately, ensuring the correct progress and time.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang requested agencies and units to closely follow Decree No. 272/2025/ND-CP and Official Dispatch No. 2350/BDTTG-VPQGDTMN dated October 19, 2025 of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions , review and assess the delimitation of areas in a timely, objective and correct manner; departments and branches support and provide detailed instructions; conduct the review promptly, accurately and correctly according to regulations. Departments and branches are requested to support and provide specific guidance on criteria for localities; the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions receives, checks records, synthesizes results and organizes appraisal, submits to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the list of communes in areas I, II, III and hamlets with special difficulties according to schedule. Any arising problems must be promptly reported to the Provincial People's Committee for direction and resolution.
