Water level in Dong Thap headwaters continues to recede.

According to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, in recent days, water levels in places in the province have gradually decreased. Currently, water levels in the upstream area are about 0.4 - 0.7 m higher than the same period last year.

Water level in Thap Muoi inland area is about 0.3 - 0.6 m higher than the same period last year. Water level in downstream area is about 0.1 - 0.2 m higher than the same period last year.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, the water level in the upstream and inland areas of Thap Muoi will continue to decrease for a few more days, then change slowly. The water level in the southwest and downstream areas will rise again according to the high tide of the 15th day of the 10th lunar month.

Water level in Thap Muoi inland area is at level I - II alarm. Water level in the southwest area and downstream is at level III alarm and above level III alarm by about 0.1 - 0.2 m.
