Coming to Thoi Son, visitors not only enjoy the taste of their homeland but also experience hand-scraping coconut, spinning candy, wrapping candy... Those rustic working moments open up the story of preserving ancient crafts in the midst of modern life.

Workers usually make green rice flakes from sticky rice or glutinous rice. The rice is roasted in a pan of sand heated to hundreds of degrees Celsius, stirred evenly for 3-5 minutes until the rice puffs up into green rice flakes.
After the rice flakes have expanded evenly, put them on a sieve to remove the husks and then put them in a pan to mix with spices.
The spices used to marinate green rice flakes are a mixture of malt, coconut milk, honey, peanuts, etc. to make the flavor richer and more diverse; especially without adding sugar.
Then put the green rice into the mold, press firmly and use a knife to cut the green rice into sticks.
The final step is packaging to keep the crispiness of the rice flakes.
Coconut candy is made from very simple ingredients: coconut milk and malt.
Making coconut candy requires diligence, patience, meticulousness and extreme dexterity in every step.
Visitors watch candy making, experience candy making and enjoy hot coconut candies fresh from the oven.
For tourists, it is not only a simple experience, but also a way to better understand the lives of farmers and their attachment to nature and work.
