
According to information from the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, implementing Resolution No. 66/2025/NQ-HDND dated November 27, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Council on amending and supplementing regulations on fees for visiting scenic spots, historical relics, and cultural works in Hanoi in Resolution No. 16/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 6, 2023 of the Hanoi People's Council, the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter (the fee collection unit) will collect entrance fees at 2 relics in Hoan Kiem ward.
Specifically, from December 8, 2025, the Management Board will collect fees at Bach Ma Temple (76 Hang Buom) and Kim Ngan Communal House (42-44 Hang Bac) with a ticket price of 20,000 VND/turn/person/location. Opening hours: All days of the week (Morning: from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; Afternoon: from 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm; Evening (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
Accordingly, the fee payers are domestic and foreign organizations and individuals visiting Bach Ma Temple and Kim Ngan Communal House.
Subjects exempted from the fee include: People with severe disabilities as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 11 of Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on People with Disabilities; children under 16 years old. In cases where it is difficult to determine whether a person is under 16 years old, it is only necessary to have any documents proving that the person is under 16 years old such as a birth certificate or student card. In cases where there are no documents to determine that the person is under 16 years old, the height of under 1.3m is applied.
Subjects eligible for a 50% reduction in fees include: Elderly people as prescribed in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly (or citizen identification card/other types of identification documents); students aged 16 and over with student cards issued by schools in the national education system in Vietnam.
Subjects entitled to preferential policies on cultural enjoyment In cases where it is difficult to determine, only a certificate from the People's Committee of the commune, ward or town where the person resides is required, specifically: People in particularly difficult communes in mountainous and remote areas; people with meritorious services to the revolution; people under social policies such as: disabled people, lonely elderly people, subjects receiving care at social protection facilities, students of ethnic boarding schools.
For those who are eligible for 2 or more of the above incentives, only 50% of the fee will be reduced.
