For the Annual Report category, 2025 marks a significant improvement in the quality of annual reports of listed companies. With a more comprehensive set of criteria, a rigorous evaluation process and the participation of a team of experts, the award guides businesses to shift from “meeting regulations” to “disclosing information to build trust”. The focus is on the usefulness of information, the level of connection between strategy - operations - business results and the ability of businesses to explain to shareholders.

The scoring of the Annual Report in the preliminary round is conducted by an independent third party, the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD), based on both content and form criteria.

Based on the list of nominees for the Final Round of the two Stock Exchanges, the Organizing Committee invited the four leading auditing companies (Big 4) namely Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PwC to review the preliminary round results, to ensure the rigor, independence, objectivity and depth in the selection process. The two Stock Exchanges reviewed the results one last time before announcing.

As a result, this year, 97 listed companies with the best Annual Reports entered the final round. Of these, 23 companies were in the financial sector and 74 were in the non-financial sector. In the final round, the Judging Council, consisting of leading, independent, and experienced experts from prestigious organizations in the market, based on the preliminary results, discussed and evaluated to select 10 winning annual reports in the financial sector and 20 winning annual reports in the non-financial sector.

This is the 8th consecutive year that Nafoods has been a finalist in this award category, and the second consecutive year that Nafoods has been honored to be one of 20 businesses named in the category of Best Annual Report in the non-financial group.

This year's Corporate Governance category is implemented across all companies in the VNX-Allshare index for the April 2025 period - the group with the highest level of representation for the listed market. VIOD's team of experts conducts preliminary scoring based on publicly available corporate documents such as annual reports, management reports, charters, internal regulations, shareholder meeting documents, etc. before the Big 4 conducts an independent review to ensure standardization and objectivity.

With higher requirements and more detailed assessment components, this year's results clearly reflect the maturity level of the governance system in Vietnamese listed enterprises.

This year, 107 companies with the best corporate governance were selected for the final round, divided by capitalization group. Of these, 35 companies were in the large-cap group, 36 were in the mid-cap group and 36 were in the small-cap group. In the final round, the Selection Council selected 22 companies with the best corporate governance, including the Top 8 large-cap groups, the Top 10 mid-cap groups and the Top 4 small-cap groups.

2025 is the 6th year that Nafoods has been a finalist in this category, and the 4th time Nafoods has been honored in the Top 4 best corporate governance companies in the small-cap group. This is also the year that marks an important step forward for Nafoods in attracting international resources when the company successfully signed two green capital contracts with a total value of 680 billion VND from FMO (Netherlands) and responsAbility (Switzerland).

Passing the rigorous ESG assessment process of major financial institutions in Europe is a signal that Nafoods' green development model is highly appreciated internationally. Not only is it a financial resource, this capital flow contributes to strengthening the market's confidence in the company's long-term growth strategy.

With a journey of 3 decades of efforts to accompany the direction of green - digital - circular agriculture , Nafoods is committed to continuously improving shareholder relations activities, meeting and exceeding the requirements of information transparency, while ensuring the roles and interests of stakeholders.

The VLCA 2025 Award is therefore not only a recognition of the efforts of the past year, but also a motivation for Nafoods to continue accompanying the Vietnamese stock market in the upgrading process, as well as contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's agricultural sector.
