Athletes show off their supple beauty at the Thanh Hoa Province Open Yoga Club Championship
The event is the highlight of the 2nd Thanh Hoa Province Open Yoga Club Championship in 2025, the largest and most professional tournament of the province's Yoga movement to date.
The performances moved the audience
Under the gentle sunshine of early summer, more than 100 radiant faces, representing 10 of the most typical Yoga clubs from districts, towns and cities in the province, together created a vivid artistic picture. Each movement of raising hands, bending over, stretching shoulders... is imbued with the spirit of connection, flexibility and suppleness - the core qualities of Yoga.
Not only is the show a group performance, it also features individual performances with difficult poses, advanced techniques and graceful combinations of strength, flexibility and balance. The young children aged 6-10 amaze with their technical proficiency, while the older athletes (over 50) inspire with their perseverance and self-confidence.
Not just a performance, each movement and breath carries the meaning of cultural exchange between Vietnam and India, the cradle of Yoga. Through the event, the community has more opportunities to approach and understand the profound values that Yoga brings from physical, mental to cultural and sustainable lifestyle.
Along with the performance, there was an exciting competition at the 2nd Thanh Hoa Province Open Yoga Club Championship, gathering more than 100 athletes and coaches from 10 of the most typical clubs in the area.
The organizing committee awarded first, second and third prizes to the units.
During more than a day of competition, athletes gave outstanding performances in many categories: Individual Yoga Asana, Artistic Yoga, Combative Yoga and Flow Yoga.
In particular, the content of Artistic Yoga is divided into 7 age groups, from 6 to over 57 years old, once again affirming the popularity and wide accessibility of this subject for all ages.
120 sets of medals were awarded to the best entries. Yoga Ula Namaste 1 won first place overall; Dairling Yoga International Academy came in second and Thuy Anh Talent Center came in third.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded individuals with outstanding achievements, contributing to honoring the athletes' efforts in training and serious competition.
Bringing Yoga Closer to the Community
Not only is this a playground for athletes to exchange and compete, this Championship is also an opportunity to look back at the development of the Yoga movement in Thanh Hoa, a movement that is increasingly spreading and being accepted by society.
According to the representative of Thanh Hoa Yoga Federation, this year's tournament not only increased in scale and number of participating clubs but also showed clear growth in the quality of training and coaching.
“We are not only aiming for tournaments, but through the event we want to strongly spread the spirit of health training and positive living to every citizen,” the Federation representative emphasized.

Also through this activity, the message “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho” continues to be concretized. Yoga is not a strange sport, reserved for a group of people but is becoming a part of the mass sports life, encouraging everyone to live healthy and positive lives.
Thanh Hoa Yoga Federation said it will continue to expand the scale of the tournament in the following years, while increasing training programs and exchanges between clubs to improve the quality of the movement.
This is also a way to gradually evaluate the effectiveness of training and organizing activities in localities, towards forming a more sustainable and professional Yoga ecosystem in the province.
