When music meets tourism in Forestival 2025

Not just an ordinary music festival, with the purpose of honoring heritage and focusing on nature, 'Forestival 2025' has opened up a new, sustainable way of exploiting tourism, promising to continue to develop in the near future.

Co-organized by Ninh Binh province and VietVision, on May 30-31, the Forestival 2025 Music and Creativity Festival took place, attracting the participation of more than 2,000 audiences from all over.

With a mission towards nature, 1,000 ebony and brown chò trees were newly planted in Cuc Phuong National Park within the framework of the program, bringing the total number of newly planted trees by the Vietnam Forest campaign to 33,000.

Many celebrities contribute to spreading the message of greening the planet

Many artists such as Ha Anh Tuan, Phan Manh Quynh, rapper Den, MC Thuy Minh... attended and spread the meaningful message.

Not stopping there, the main activity is the Forestival Music Festival taking place on Khe Coc Island, which is also combined with many meaningful activities, contributing to honoring heritage and spreading the message of protecting nature.

The stage was set up amidst mountains and rivers, creating an impressive feeling. This year, the image that was especially honored was the white-rumped langur - one of the five rare primate species in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world .

With urgent conservation efforts in Cuc Phuong National Park, from more than 40 individuals, up to now, in Van Long (Ninh Binh) there have been about 250 Delacour's langurs living (accounting for 70% of the total number of Delacour's langurs worldwide), and increased more than 4 times in the past 20 years.

Singer Ha Anh Tuan revealed that he, other artists and Forestival have donated 500 million VND to Save Vietnam's Wildlife to preserve and breed this rare langur species.

In addition to the message towards nature, the Heritage Road to honor traditional craft villages is also arranged in the event space.

The system of images such as cranes, elephants, humans, deer... that appeared in many caves of Ninh Binh is also recreated, contributing to introducing the rich history and culture of this place.

Many artists join their voices towards heritage and environment

The highlight of the event series took place on the evening of May 31 with the participation of 10 artists and bands loved by young audiences. Throughout the program, artists Phan Manh Quynh, Den, Ha Anh Tuan... called on the audience to explore Ninh Binh and continue to protect nature, joining hands for community efforts.

In addition, the art of Xam singing, which is being considered to become an intangible heritage in need of urgent preservation, also appeared through the performance Ninh Binh brightens up the heritage land combining Xam Cho and beatbox. The performance was performed by beatboxer Trung Bao and young artists in the Xam Ha Thi Cau club.

With its vision and many meaningful messages, Forestival is expected to be held annually, thereby contributing to the discovery of all heritage sites in Vietnam and honoring special values.
