Tri Ton evaluates and classifies 9 OCOP products

On May 30, the Council for evaluating and classifying OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program) of Tri Ton district held a meeting to evaluate and classify OCOP products, phase I, 2025.

This time, the whole Tri Ton district has 9 products to evaluate and classify OCOP products, including: Vilana palm jam of Vilana business household; Ngoc Truc palm sugar of La Nhu Ngoc business household; Loc Xanh 62 wild grape honey and Loc Xanh 62 wild grape wine of Thuy Dung business household; Palm flower honey of Palmania Joint Stock Company; Kim Thoa pork roll of Duong Kim Thoa business household; Hoa Loc Ben Ba Chi sand mango of Ben Ba Chi Agricultural Service Cooperative; Hoa Sen bean paste of Hoa Sen soy sauce business household; Kim Trang melon of Lam Yen Trang business household.

Through reviewing the registration documents and procedures of the subjects, the Appraisal Council analyzed, discussed, and gave opinions focusing on some characteristics of the product, such as: Packaging, brand, processing procedure, address, logo, consumer market. Suggestions for improving the quality and development orientation of OCOP products. At the same time, conduct scoring and classifying products and give opinions on limitations to make the product more complete.

After evaluation, products that meet the 3-star criteria will be recognized by the District People's Committee and a certificate awarding ceremony will be held. Products that meet the 4-star and 5-star criteria will have their records consolidated and submitted to the Provincial Appraisal Council for recognition.
