Phu Tan provides capital to support women in economic development and the "Godmother" model

On May 30, in Phu Thanh commune, the Women's Union of Phu Tan district organized a program to provide capital to support women in economic development and "Godmothers" to care for and raise orphans due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

At the program, the organizers provided capital support to 6 women who are branch heads of the communes: Phu Thanh, Phu Long, Phu Xuan, Hiep Xuong, Phu Hiep and Cho Vam town. The support level is 2 million VND/person.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Phu Tan district coordinated with benefactors to support 28 orphans due to the COVID-19 epidemic, each child received 1.1 million VND including gifts and cash.
