Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the 34th Corps chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units in the Corps, along with typical collectives and individuals in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh .
Over the past 10 years, the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW has been closely linked by Party committees and organizations in the 34th Corps with the implementation of Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (term XI, XII) and Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Party Central Committee (term XIII) on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation". The implementation process has been carried out with many synchronous and drastic solutions, closely following the motto "above first, below later", "inside first, outside later", learning goes hand in hand with following.
Every year, Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units at all levels have led and directed the development and compilation of topics on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in line with the standards worthy of the title "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period, suitable to the situation and tasks of the agencies and units. Specifically, in the period of 2016-2025, the Corps has compiled 44 topics on studying and following Uncle Ho's example.
In particular, the units clearly identified three pillars: learning, following and setting an example. Taking ethical standards as the starting point; Party committee and cell activities as the foundation for regulareducation ; inspecting moral cultivation and training to promptly remind, correct, and correct limitations and shortcomings; at the same time, focusing on praising and rewarding to create motivation, multiply typical examples, and spread widely throughout the force.
In the process of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW, the Corps has built good models, creative and effective ways of doing things, typically: Building a team of cadres with "3 exemplary", "4 no's", "3 yes's", "3 should's"; "3 substance", "3 finality" in political education; Military psychological-legal counseling team; model of "1 study, 2 do, 3 love, 4 say"; "4 with the army"; "Zalo group for soldiers' rear"; "1 self-conscious, 2 active, 3 no's, 4 responsibilities"; "A life lesson every day"; "Supporting the training season"... Agencies and units have built 276 groups and 1,432 typical and advanced individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho's example; thereby contributing to the effective implementation of breakthroughs, key tasks and in the Party building work of agencies, units and the entire Corps.
At the conference, delegates discussed and shared experiences, good and creative ways of learning from and following Uncle Ho; at the same time, proposed solutions to continue promoting learning from and following Uncle Ho throughout the corps to fulfill political tasks well.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh affirmed that studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings is increasingly going into depth, creating strong changes in awareness and action among cadres, party members and the masses.
Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh suggested that in the coming time, we should continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and comprehensively implement Directive 05-CT/TW and Conclusion 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, along with directives and conclusions related to studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Promote the role of Party committees and commanders at all levels in leadership, direction and implementation; especially raise awareness and responsibility of the team of cadres in charge of the meaning and importance of studying and following Uncle Ho.
Continue to closely combine "learning" and "following", clearly demonstrated through promoting the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in new conditions and circumstances. Promote emulation movements to win, revolutionary action movements, campaigns associated with political tasks and building a strong and comprehensive unit. Pay attention to training cadres at all levels in the spirit of "7 dares" and focus on setting an example from top to bottom, from the leading cadres to each party member and the masses. At the same time, strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of directives and resolutions to ensure their practicality and effectiveness throughout the entire implementation process.
On this occasion, Corps 34 awarded certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the 2016-2025 period.
