
On the evening of May 30, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site, the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025 officially opened with the theme "Experience Hanoi".
The festival, organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, will last until June 1, bringing together a series of attractive tourism-cultural- culinary activities.
At the opening ceremony, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang emphasized that this is the most anticipated event for those who love to travel, love Hanoi and are passionate about discovering the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam.
In recent years, the festival has introduced and promoted new, diverse, unique and attractive tourism products; an opportunity to strengthen the connection of tourism, culture and people from activities in the event, encouraging the need to travel and experience; thereby attracting domestic and international tourists to the capital and affiliated localities.
With 150 booths, Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025 brings together leading tourism businesses, localities nationwide and many international organizations.

The festival brings a space to experience "Hanoi Destination" through models, typical miniatures and virtual reality technology, VR360, 3D mapping, recreating hundreds of beautiful scenes of the capital.
Many travel businesses and hotels introduce new products, promotions and tourism stimulus programs.
The traditional and creative culinary space attracts a large number of locals and tourists with typical dishes such as pho, shrimp cakes, lotus tea, coffee, and performances by famous chefs.
The space "Ta Hien Night Cuisine" recreates the atmosphere of the old town with cold beer, street food and vibrant music.
On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, the festival organizes experiential activities for children such as painting, folk games, especially Robocon programming; in addition, there is a sports space introducing pickleball, along with high-class golf experience activities.
The event was attended by many units such as Hanoi Youth Union; Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club; Halal Vietnam; large enterprises such as Hanoi Tourism Corporation, Best Price Travel; districts such as Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Tay Ho, Ha Dong, Nam Tu Liem, Quoc Oai, Phu Xuyen, Gia Lam.
Ba Dinh District People's Committee introduced the products of Ngu Xa bronze casting village, Hang Than green rice cake, and launched the night tour "Tran Vu Bell" at Quan Thanh Temple, which will be exploited from August 2025.
Provinces such as Ha Giang, Son La, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh... participate in introducing local tourism products, creating a unique regional linkage space.

In addition to the opening art program “Hanoi Sounds” featuring performances combining traditional and modern music, the Festival also has activities to survey destinations on May 31, a fashion show “Hanoi Heritage” (evening of May 31), and a seminar on developing Islamic tourism (morning of June 1).
According to the Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in the first 5 months of 2025, the number of tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 12.77 million, total revenue from tourists is estimated at 51,940 billion VND, up 10.9% and 14.1% respectively over the same period.
It is expected that in the first 6 months of 2025, the number of tourists to Hanoi will reach 15.55 million, with total revenue from tourists estimated at VND 62,299 billion, up 11.8% and 14.6% respectively over the same period.
