The festival aims to honor the traditional cultural beauty of the Khmer people, especially festival cultural activities; to meet the thoughts, aspirations, and needs of cultural and spiritual life of ethnic people.
For over 10 years, the festival in Soc Trang has been focused on raising its scale to a regional level. Last year, the festival was held on a regional scale for the 6th time in the Mekong Delta, attracting the participation of 60 boat teams with over 7,000 athletes from the provinces of Soc Trang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu , Hau Giang, Kien Giang and Can Tho city, with about 620,000 people and tourists coming to participate and visit the activities at the festival.
Hanoi honored as one of the world's top 20 cultural destinations
According to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , Time Out Magazine (UK) has just honored Hanoi as one of the world's top 20 cultural destinations in 2025, ranking 9th globally and leading in Asia.
This is the result of a survey of more than 18,500 global travelers, combined with assessments by international cultural and tourism experts on cultural experiences in the place of residence, along with the level of investment and quality of local cultural activities.
After a survey, Time Out's editorial team selected 20 typical cities, representing the most dynamic cultural centers in the world. According to Time Out Magazine, Hanoi is a charming city, where "the past is never far from the present".
The fact that Hanoi was honored by Time Out is not only a source of pride for the capital's people, but also affirms Vietnam's position on the world cultural map. This will also be a driving force for Hanoi's tourism to accelerate, achieving the goal set for 2025 of welcoming 31 million tourists.
Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025: The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An
From May 23 to 31, at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province, Tourism Week 2025 will take place with the theme "Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An".
