Donating breeding calves to poor households in Phuoc Tan

Phu Yen Power Company recently visited and presented a breeding calf, worth about 10 million VND, to the family of Ms. Ra Lan Thi Nhim in Ma Giay village, Phuoc Tan commune, Son Hoa district. This family has just received 70 million VND from the company to help them eliminate temporary housing under the Charity House Building Support Program of the Central Power Corporation implemented in 2025.

It is known that after supporting the construction of a Tinh Nghia house for this household, Phu Yen Electricity Company realized that although Nhim's family had a stable place to live, the family's circumstances were very difficult, the couple did not have stable jobs, lacked land for production, and had no income. Nhim was sick and had to raise 2 small children, the family had no source of livelihood, so the possibility of escaping poverty was extremely difficult. Therefore, the company decided to give Nhim's family an additional calf to create a livelihood.

Mr. Pham Van Tay, Deputy Director of Phu Yen Electricity Company, said: Hopefully, Nhim's family will try to take care of this calf so that it can grow quickly, give birth to more calves, expand production, and help Nhim's family escape poverty like many other families who have escaped poverty thanks to the calf given by the company.
