Through these activities, we have contributedto educating knowledge, love for the homeland and equipping useful life skills for students during the summer. At the same time, we help them relax after a stressful school year, preparing them mentally for the new school year.
Besides participating in useful training, playing and learning activities, every summer is also the time when children often drown in the whole country in general and in Di Linh in particular, causing great loss and regret for families and society.

This year's ceremony to launch the nationwide swimming and drowning prevention campaign is an opportunity for families, schools, all levels, sectors, organizations and the whole society to further promote their roles and responsibilities in promoting the movement of teaching and learning to swim for children, improving health, stature and physical strength; preventing diseases for children and the community; helping children develop comprehensively and gradually reducing drowning accidents.
With the theme of this year's Action Month for Children being Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children, the Vice Chairman of the Di Linh District People's Committee requested members of the Summer Steering Committee, all levels, sectors, unions, localities, organizations, individuals, and families in the district to focus on performing well the following tasks: Propagating and raising awareness of the whole society about the purpose and significance of organizing summer activities; creating a close relationship between families, schools, and society in organizing activities taking place during the summer. In addition, promote good and effective models in summer activities of previous years. At the same time, diversify the forms of activities to suit each group of children and students. In particular, focus on children with especially difficult circumstances, poor students, students in remote areas of the district. Mr. Vu Duc Nhuan also encouraged and mobilized children in the district to actively participate in swimming lessons, learn about knowledge and skills to prevent and combat drowning. At the same time, arrange playtime during the summer in a reasonable and scientific way; actively and dynamically participate in extracurricular activities, help parents with appropriate housework to practice and improve life skills and combine reviewing knowledge during the summer to improve themselves, worthy of the wishes of their families and teachers.

At the program, the Vietnam Olympic Committee awarded the Commemorative Medal to the People's Committee of Di Linh District. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Di Linh District also presented 47 gifts to students who have overcome difficulties in their studies to share with them the difficulties in life.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Vietnam Olympic Committee and the People's Committee of Di Linh district launched a run to encourage and promote the movement " Sports for everyone" with the participation of many delegates, union members, youth and students, children on a distance of 700m.

In addition, as part of the series of activities, from June 1 to 4, the Vietnam Olympic Committee also organized the 2025 Swimming Development Program in Di Linh district. The program aims to train 107 civil servants and officials in the cultural sector; police officers participating in fire prevention, fighting, rescue and salvage tasks; coaches, instructors, sports collaborators; Youth Union - Association - Team officials; physical education teachers, swimming teachers of primary and secondary schools in the district.
The training program combines both theoretical and practical instruction on the contents of popularizing knowledge about drowning, preventive measures; skills to prevent drowning for children; breathing, checking artificial respiration and first aid for drowning people; practicing escape skills, handling situations in water; practicing swimming skills and styles.
