Construction of more than 460 houses for people with revolutionary contributions started

(QBĐT) - According to information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh district, to implement the housing support project for people with meritorious services to the revolution and relatives of martyrs, the locality has flexibly deployed many solutions, mobilizing the entire political system to participate with the determination to complete the construction, renovation and repair of houses for people with meritorious services before September 30, 2025.

Many families of meritorious people in Quang Ninh district received support to renovate and repair their houses.

According to Decision No. 21/2024/QD-TTg dated November 22, 2024 of the Prime Minister on housing support for revolutionary veterans and martyrs' relatives, through screening in communes and towns in Quang Ninh district, 563 revolutionary veterans' households and martyrs' relatives were supported with housing; of which, 120 households built new houses and 443 households repaired.

Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh District People's Committee Le Ngoc Huan said that the district has directed the entire political system to participate and actively implement the construction and repair of houses for NCC with the revolution, relatives of martyrs' families in the area. During the implementation process, localities have done a good job of propaganda to the people, coordinated to review NCC with the revolution, relatives of martyrs' families eligible for support, current housing status, needs of households, promoting democracy, following the guiding process. Up to now, localities in the district have organized the groundbreaking ceremony for 462 houses (reaching a rate of 82.1%), of which, 93 new houses were built and 366 houses were renovated and repaired.
