Chairman of the Science and Technology Association of Tuyen Hoa district Nguyen Duc Khanh said: "To develop the science and technology movement, every year, the association advises the Party Committee and the government to include science and technology work and building a learning society in the program and tasks; regularly launch science and technology competitions in branches, agencies, units, families and clans, focusing on building typical science and technology models to expand the movement."
Currently, many effective models of learning encouragement have appeared in the district, such as: "Learning Family", "Learning Clan", "Learning Community", "Learning Unit"... These good practices have contributed to arousing and promoting the tradition of studiousness, building a learning society in the community, and improving the qualityof education in the district.

Son Hoa commune has 10 science and technology associations in 7 villages, 3 schools and 4 science and technology boards of agencies and clans with 1,094 members. Chairman of the Science and Technology Association of Son Hoa commune Phan Xuan Tien said: "In implementing science and technology work, the association has advised the commune People's Committee to lead science and technology work, build a learning society; sign emulation agreements on science and technology work, build lifelong learning models, participate in learning at the commune community learning center; reward students and teachers with high achievements in studying and teaching".
Up to now, the Science Fund of Son Hoa commune has over 150 million VND, on average, each year awards 60 students and teachers with high achievements in studying and reviewing for excellent student exams. The whole commune has 941 families achieving the title of "Learning Family", 7 clans recognized as "Learning Clan", 7/7 communities recognized as "Learning Community", 4/4 units recognized as "Learning Unit". In recent years, the Truong family in Dong Le town has been known as a family that effectively implements the science and technology movement. Accordingly, the family has actively encouraged their children and grandchildren to study and improve their lives... Currently, the Truong family in Dong Le town has 45 households and over 150 people, but the people have voluntarily contributed over 100 million VND to the science and technology fund.
Mr. Truong Van Duyen, head of the Truong family in Dong Le town, shared: “Since its establishment, the family's Science and Technology Committee has focused on promoting and encouraging children and grandchildren to take care of their studies; encouraging good students to tutor poor students, and organizing self-management groups during self-study hours at home. Every year, on the family's death anniversary, children and grandchildren will gather to report their study results to their grandparents and ancestors. After that, the family's Science and Technology Committee will organize a ceremony to commend and reward children and grandchildren with high academic achievements and families with good economic performance.” Currently, the whole family has 1 person with a master's degree, over 20 people with university degrees, and 4 people who are military and police officers.
It can be affirmed that the activities of the Science and Technology Association at all levels in Tuyen Hoa district have had a strong influence and received trust and positive response in the community. Thereby, contributing to promoting the learning movement, giving wings to many generations of students in the area to realize their dreams and ambitions on the path to career development.
