Police officers brave the scorching sun to practice for the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day

In the early days of June, on the campus of Hanoi National University (Hoa Lac commune, Thach That district), despite the harsh weather, the neat and orderly rows of the People's Public Security force were still enthusiastically practicing and preparing for the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

In the middle of the blazing hot training ground, the decisive footsteps of the police soldiers echoed rhythmically, the shouts of commands echoed across the sky. Sweat rolled down their sunburnt faces, soaking their shoulders, but the young soldiers' eyes always shone with steadfastness and iron determination.

Every step and every movement of officers and soldiers today is no longer simply a command exercise, but has become a symbol of resilience and a spirit of iron discipline forged through hours of rigorous training.

Behind the steady steps are the tireless efforts, the silent but proud sacrifices of the People's Public Security soldiers .

Participating in a parade practice for the first time, soldier Quach Cong Hau (from Soc Trang ) could not hide his emotions. For him, becoming one of thousands of soldiers participating in the A80 parade formation is a great honor and a proud milestone when wearing the People's Public Security uniform.

"This is an event of special significance to the country. I feel very honored to be part of the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd," soldier Hau shared.

As a son of the South, going to the North to study and practice in harsh weather conditions, he was surprised. The scorching and hot summer sun at the Hoa Lac training ground made every step and every movement more difficult.

However, Hau and his teammates never once faltered. "The hot weather is a challenge, but also an opportunity for my teammates and I to practice our bravery and discipline. Everyone tries their best every day to complete the assigned tasks well," he said.

The more difficult the situation, the higher the soldier's spirit.

Currently, soldiers are entering the final stage of basic training - a decisive foundation to prepare for the transition to advanced training, group training, preliminary rehearsal and moving towards the state-level general rehearsal.

Sharing about the training process, Major Le Tuan Vu, head of the training team for male technical officers and high-tech crime prevention, said that his team is currently in charge of the parade consisting of 188 soldiers, mainly students from the People's Security Academy and the People's Public Security Political Academy.

The soldiers are arranged according to strict rules, tall people stand on top, short people stand below, the formation gradually slopes to the left to create a balanced, harmonious whole. The average height of the soldiers is 1.78m. The soldiers in the top row are 1.85m, the bottom row is about 1.70m, carefully selected, evenly.

Major Vu said that the criteria for selecting officers and soldiers to participate in the parade are very strict, not only must they meet the standard height, serious demeanor, straight legs, and steady posture, but their appearance must also be bright and their demeanor must reflect the spirit of a People's Public Security soldier. Each person in the formation is not just an individual, but a "piece" that contributes to creating a unified, majestic appearance for the whole group.

Major Vu has participated in training parade formations many times, but this time with the large scale and special significance of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the responsibility placed on him and his teammates became even heavier.

"I am very aware of the honor but also the great responsibility. Therefore, I always uphold the sense of responsibility and take every step seriously in training to achieve the best results," he shared.

The training process is organized according to the prescribed curriculum and lesson plans, while integrating ideological work, motivation and encouragement for officers and soldiers. Each training session is not only for technical training, but also an opportunity to foster discipline, pride and collective cohesion.

"We always determine that no matter how difficult it is, the whole unit must make every effort to ensure a unified formation, beautiful movements, and excellent completion of assigned tasks," Major Vu affirmed.

Captain Dau Thanh Bac - a training officer of the Mobile Police Command - said that every day, officers and soldiers start practicing at 7am and finish at 5:30pm. On extremely hot days, the practice time is adjusted earlier, starting at 6:30am to take advantage of the slightly cooler weather conditions.

In the first phase, training focuses on perfecting each soldier's individual techniques - from posture, head rotation, arm swing to synchronized steps. Then comes the stage of line training, moving towards mass coordination.

To have a standard parade formation on September 2, each group must meet high requirements for uniformity, precision and beauty. Each movement must be decisive and spirited, demonstrating the bravery and strength of the armed forces," Captain Bac shared.

He was particularly impressed with the spirit of the female special police officers, who always made constant efforts in the scorching heat. "Despite the harsh weather, the female officers still practiced diligently and seriously. The more difficult it was, the stronger the spirit and will of the officers and soldiers were. They were truly steel flowers on the training ground," Captain Bac said emotionally.
