On May 20, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh) - said it had just completed signing 3 forest environment leasing projects with businesses, with the goal of developing eco -tourism , resorts, and entertainment associated with protecting and sustainably developing the ecosystem; term of 30 years.

Accordingly, the three projects that have just been signed include: MBG Lac Sanh Phu Yen Joint Stock Company will invest in an eco-tourism and environmental interpretation site at the Botanical Garden, sub-area 615, in the service - administrative subdivision. The area for leasing the forest environment is 77 hectares, with a total investment of 91 billion VND.

Greenscape Project Development and Investment Management Consulting Joint Stock Company invests in Km8 resort, sub-area 245, in the production forest planning. Leased area 76ha, investment capital 310 billion VND.

Viet Green Ecotourism Joint Stock Company is implementing the project of Ba Tay Hill Tourism Operation Center and Resort, Sub-area 615A, in the service - administrative subdivision. This project has a leased area of ​​83 hectares, with a total investment of 76 billion VND.

After each 5-year cycle, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board will organize an assessment of implementation effectiveness to consider continued extension according to legal regulations.

According to the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board, leasing forest environments for ecotourism development is becoming a sustainable trend, contributing to environmental protection and biodiversity conservation. This model is assessed to have a faster growth rate than traditional forms of tourism.

In Quang Binh, this form of investment is being chosen by many businesses, helping to diversify tourism products and promote the local economy .

Quang Binh is currently the second province in the country in terms of forest coverage, at over 68%. Not only does it have a rich ecosystem, the forests in Quang Binh also possess many majestic landscapes such as Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park - a World Natural Heritage, or Dong Chau - Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve with thousands of hectares, which are potential destinations for tourism development associated with nature conservation.
