FPT demonstrates AI power and superior infrastructure at Vietnam International Digital Week 2025

FPT has demonstrated the AI ​​solution ecosystem, which is the core platform in the national scientific and technological revolution and innovation.

On 27-29/20/2025, in Ninh Binh, Vietnam International Digital Week 2025 was held. With the theme "Artificial Intelligence Governance", Vietnam International Digital Week 2025 gathered more than 30 countries, international organizations and the world's leading technology corporations, aiming to promote cooperation, share experiences and shape policies for sustainable and responsible AI development.

Within the framework of the event, affirming its role as a pioneer in the field of digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI),FPT brought two key products: FPT AI Factory - a high-performance computing infrastructure serving the development of large-scale AI models, and FPT AI Agents - a platform that was recently honored as "Best AI Solution of the Year" at the AI ​​Awards 2025. These are products with a strong "Make in Vietnam" character, demonstrating FPT's core technology mastery, contributing to the building of a national AI platform and digital sovereignty in Vietnam. At the same time, FPT representatives gave an important speech at the regional workshop on Digital Transformation based on Artificial Intelligence, to affirm Vietnam's role and vision in the global AI economy.

AI – The new driving force of the global economy

According to forecasts from PwC and IDC, artificial intelligence is expected to contribute up to 15.7 trillion USD to the global economy by 2030, equivalent to 15% of global GDP. Major economies such as the US, China, South Korea and Singapore are investing heavily in AI, considering it the foundation for new economic power. Along with that, an "AI race" is taking place on a global scale: whichever country owns the computing infrastructure, holds training data and develops large language models, that country will control the digital future and ensure long-term competitiveness.

Vietnam is in the "AI acceleration" phase when all the conditions are met to become a regional innovation center. Currently, Vietnam has more than 500,000 technology workers, an AI application rate of 42% and 65% of small and medium enterprises have used AI tools. This is an important foundation for a dynamic AI ecosystem, guided by the National Strategy on Research, Development and Application of Artificial Intelligence to 2030 issued by the Government.

Representative of FPT Corporation, Mr. Ngo Xuan Bach, Director of AI Center, FPT Smart Cloud, said that to make a leap forward, Vietnam needs to increase investment in computing infrastructure, research capacity and large-scale training data. This not only serves businesses but also helps Vietnam ensure data sovereignty and national technology security. This is the important foundation of an independent digital nation.

Mastering technology, creating Vietnam's digital sovereignty

At the event, FPT participated in the exhibition of the comprehensive FPT.AI ecosystem, notably FPT AI Agents - a platform for building "AI Human Resources" capable of automatically processing a series of operations, from customer care, consultants to training assistants, helping to improve efficiency, reduce errors and save operating costs. FPT is operating 5,120 AI Agents serving more than 200 corporate customers, automating more than 200 million interactions per month, helping to increase productivity by 67% and reduce operating costs by 40%. With an investment of 200 million USD in cooperation with NVIDIA, FPT has built an "AI Factory" with thousands of H100 GPUs, providing GPU Cloud services that can achieve processing performance of up to 400 teraflops, among the strongest in Southeast Asia.

Many businesses are interested in FPT's solution ecosystem.

This ecosystem allows businesses and organizations to develop, train and operate their own AI models on a Cloud infrastructure that meets international standards for security and safety. This is a strategic step to help Vietnam proactively master core technology, not depend on foreign platforms, and at the same time contribute to building a safe and sustainable national digital platform.

In the regional workshop on Digital Transformation based on Artificial Intelligence, Mr. Ngo Xuan Bach gave a speech on the topic 'Vietnam's AI Momentum: Building Competitiveness in the Global AI Economy'. Mr. Bach said: "A country's competitiveness no longer lies in resources or cheap labor, but in the ability to master and create its own artificial intelligence." In the context of the world moving towards responsible, transparent and human-serving AI, Vietnam needs to affirm its position with its own creativity.
