Coming from a farmer background, having been attached to soursop since her youth, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay has always wondered how to improve the quality of this specialty fruit of the island. After many years of research and learning, Ms. Bay has succeeded with soursop tea and more honorably, the product has achieved 5-star OCOP status of Tien Giang province, exporting this product to major markets around the world .
In 2024, besides soursop tea, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bay's product "Fermented soursop juice" won First Prize in the 2024 Startup and Business Ideas Competition organized by the Provincial Women's Union.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Hai, Head of the Coordinating Group, said: Currently, the group creates jobs for 30 women weaving products such as handbags, palm-leaf hats, etc. Every week, the group produces about 1,000 products. Depending on the size of the product, the labor cost is from 8,000 - 20,000 VND/product, skilled workers make 20 products/day, older workers make more than 10 products/day; with an average income of about 2 - 4 million VND/person/month.

The effectiveness of the model "Women's Associations weaving sedge products" has contributed to the successful implementation of the emulation movement's targets on self-confidence, creativity, overcoming difficulties, enhancing the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance, helping each other in economic activities, creating more opportunities to enhance women's economic power.
On the vast pineapple fields, the female members of Tan Hoa Dong Agricultural Service Cooperative, Tan Phuoc District, take care of the pineapples together. Every year, the cooperative supplies hundreds of tons of clean pineapple and thousands of quality pineapple seedlings to the market. This creates jobs and increases income for many women and local people.
