On August 5th, following the second rehearsal at National Training Center 4, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd held a meeting of the forces participating in the A80 mission.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee - chaired the conference.
40 planes, submarines, missile frigates... participated in the parade
Reporting at the conference, the commander of the Air Defense - Air Force Command stated that the air force participating in the A80 mission used 40 aircraft, including SU-30MK2, YAK-130, L39-NG, helicopters, and transport aircraft. The units organized training for 78 flight crews, ensuring absolute safety.
Naval forces, including submarines, missile frigates, missile boats, anti-submarine frigates, various types of coast guard vessels, fisheries patrol vessels, medical ships, border guards, maritime militia, and helicopters, conducted their third joint training exercise, ensuring proper distance, speed, and formation.
Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics - praised the officers, soldiers and forces participating in the A80 mission for always showing a very high spirit and responsibility, "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain, practicing enthusiastically", solidarity, overcoming difficulties, and determination to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

In particular, under harsh weather and climate conditions, the female units have made great efforts, focusing on training to ensure quality and contributing to spreading the image of revolutionary female soldiers.
Looking ahead, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung requested that units build upon the achievements already made; at the same time, learn from the experience gained from carrying out tasks A70 and A50, and be determined to successfully complete task A80.
In the immediate future, prepare well for the next general training session and the preliminary and final rehearsals at Ba Dinh Square.
Throughout the mission, the troops were instructed to always uphold the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, especially when interacting with the people, the press, and foreigners.
In addition, we request that agencies and units provide the best possible support and cooperate closely with Vietnam Television (VTV) to contribute to creating a television program commensurate with the scale and significance of this important national event.

Welcome the military delegation of the countries with respect
In his concluding remarks, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia requested the units to learn from the contents pointed out at the training session this morning. At the same time, he requested to continue to organize serious training, ensuring quality, especially the air force and navy to organize joint training in formation according to the approved plan.
Actively ensure the technical maintenance of weapons and equipment participating in training and joint exercises; pay attention to the health of the troops, focusing on disease prevention, food safety and hygiene, and preventing heatstroke and heat exhaustion.
In addition, attention should be paid to the coordination and organization among ministries, departments, and the city of Hanoi in ensuring traffic flow, troop mobility; ensuring security, safety, and environmental hygiene; and public awareness campaigns.
Prepare well and organize to welcome military delegations from other countries to participate in parades and marches to ensure solemnity and compliance with international practices.
