Tomorrow (December 11th), the Vietnamese women's team will play a crucial match against their long-time rivals Myanmar to determine their qualification for the next round of the SEA Games 33.
Understanding the importance, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training, Head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation - visited and encouraged the female athletes.
At the meeting, Head of Delegation Nguyen Hong Minh sent deep words of encouragement. At the same time, he hoped that the whole team would put aside psychological pressure to compete with the most graceful legs.
He emphasized: “The whole team must keep their spirits up, forget about the things that didn’t go as planned in the previous match, and look forward to tomorrow’s match with the highest determination. I wish the entire coaching staff and players success and the best results in this tournament.”

In response to the delegation leaders' concerns, head coach Mai Duc Chung reported on the team's preparations. The good news for domestic fans is that despite the dense competition schedule, the "diamond girls" are still maintaining a strong physical foundation.
Most importantly, the team has not recorded any unfortunate injuries. The team's spirit is very high, united and focused on the goal of victory.
To best prepare for the match, the coaching staff has made reasonable tactical adjustments. Accordingly, at 4pm this afternoon, the team will have a practice session to get familiar with the field at Legend Academy. Moving the practice time earlier than usual is to help the players adapt to the match time tomorrow.
In addition, the President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Tran Quoc Tuan, will be present in person in the stands at Chonburi Stadium to watch and cheer on the team.
