A unique ceremony for the opening of the calligraphy writing season, featuring the Tale of Kieu.

(Baohatinh.vn) - The opening ceremony of the calligraphy writing of the Tale of Kieu in Ha Tinh aims to promote traditional cultural values, honor the masterpiece Tale of Kieu and show gratitude to the great poet Nguyen Du.

To commemorate the 260th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Nguyen Du (1765-2025), on the morning of December 10th, the Nguyen family council of Tien Dien, in coordination with Tien Dien Primary School, organized a calligraphy writing ceremony for the Tale of Kieu (Tien Dien version).

The ceremony attracted the participation of teachers from primary schools in the communes of Dan Hai, Tien Dien, and Nghi Xuan.

Each teacher will choose an excerpt from the Tale of Kieu (Tien Dien edition) to express through calligraphy on 50x70cm do paper. The calligraphic works should showcase both calligraphic writing techniques and creativity in presenting the verses of Kieu through an artistic lens, imbued with traditional cultural elements.

Careful attention to detail in every stroke, the soft, graceful brushstrokes allow the viewer to both admire the beautiful calligraphy and appreciate the subtlety in each line of poetry.

The entire collection of calligraphy will be displayed at the home of the great poet Nguyen Du, located within the grounds of Tien Dien Primary School. The calligraphy writing ceremony is an activity to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, to honor the masterpiece *Truyen Kieu* and to express gratitude to the great poet Nguyen Du.
