All majors in the economics and management sector of the National Economics University have a benchmark score of 26.57-27.79 points in 2024. The leaders of the National Economics University predict that this year's benchmark score may decrease by 1-2 points depending on the major and program. If so, to be admitted to some majors of the university, candidates must achieve 25 points or more.
In the past 3 years, the economic and financial majors of Foreign Trade University have had very high and stable admission scores, from 26.9 to 28.4. In 2024, the admission scores for this group of majors will be from 27.2 to 28.2. It is predicted that this year the school's admission scores will also fluctuate within the above ranges.
According to Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, for "hot" majors that have a standard score of over 26 in previous years, this year it is likely that they will be the same and not decrease, or if there is a decrease, it will only decrease by 1 point at most.
In the economic sector, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, last year the standard scores for finance and banking, business administration, marketing, accounting, auditing, international business, and e-commerce were from 27-29 points, so this year it is predicted that it will not be lower than 25 points.

Computer science , artificial intelligence, information technology, automation, automotive engineering technology... at many universities in 2024 have very high admission scores.
Many engineering and technology majors at other schools are expected to have the same benchmark scores as in 2024, and if there is a slight decrease, candidates for some majors must still achieve 25 points or more to be admitted.
Specifically, the engineering and technology majors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry are expected to have a benchmark score of 25 or higher, including: Computer engineering, automation, electrical and electronic engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, mechatronic engineering technology, automotive engineering technology, information technology, data science, and food technology.

The leader of Ho Chi Minh City University of Information Technology said that the school's admission score this year may decrease by 1-1.25 points. Therefore, majors such as artificial intelligence, computer science, and data science are expected to have admission scores of 25 or higher.
Many majors of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2024 have very high benchmark scores such as control and automation engineering (28.6), telecommunications engineering (27.41), computer science (28.53), computer engineering (28.48), data science and artificial intelligence (28.22), information technology (28.01), microelectronics engineering and nanotechnology (27.64), information technology of the Global ICT program (28.01). Health sector
This is a major that has had top admission scores for many years. Especially medicine and dentistry at public universities.
The leaders of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy said that this year, although the average score for group B is low, the level of competition for these majors at the school is still very high. Therefore, the benchmark scores for these two majors are still predicted to not decrease or if they decrease, it will not be significant.

Pedagogical disciplines
In recent years, the majors of mathematics, physics, chemistry, literature, history, geography, and English have had great competition, so the benchmark scores are also very high.
According to Master Phung Quan, admissions expert at the University of Natural Sciences (Ho Chi Minh City National University), based on the score distribution of the high school exam and new policy factors of the pedagogical sector, the benchmark score for this sector this year is expected to increase slightly, while there is a clear differentiation by sector and by school.
"The predicted change in benchmark scores is around 0.25 to 0.75 points, depending on the major and enrollment target. With a total score of 25 or higher, candidates can be admitted to pedagogical majors at major universities," said Master Phung Quan.
