The Vietnam Cultural Festival held in Moscow starts from July 25th to August 3rd. More than 100 events are continuously taking place for Russian people and tourists, including: Food stalls, creative classes, art performances, puppet shows and exhibitions...
The event was held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and Vietnam, and is part of the large-scale project “Summer in Moscow”.

Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said: “The festival on Manezhnaya Square attracted about 968,000 people. Dance and music performances, puppet shows and clay figurine making tutorials were the most popular activities.”
All visitors are invited to enjoy special cuisine including beef noodle soup, dumplings and Vietnamese coffee... Regarding traditional handicrafts, conical hats with vivid decorative motifs and Dong Ho paintings are of particular interest.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dang Minh Khoi - Vietnamese Ambassador to the Russian Federation, emphasized: "The festival is an important step in strengthening cultural relations between Vietnam and Russia. We are very happy to share a part of the Vietnamese soul with the Moscow public, and hope that this cultural dialogue will continue in the future."
At the festival, visitors also have the opportunity to listen to melodies from traditional ethnic musical instruments such as the T'rung and bamboo flute, watch martial arts performances and admire a collection of Vietnamese national costumes.

The festival is organized by the Moscow City Government in coordination with the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation.
The event is part of a series of cultural exchanges. Previously, in July, Manezhnaya Square also hosted the Indian Festival, attracting 825,000 visitors. In the summer of 2024, the UAE Cultural Days also took place, welcoming more than 300,000 visitors.

“Summer in Moscow” is the city’s main summer project, bringing together more than 400 venues across the capital. Project activities include major festivals, charity programs, sports events, concerts, seminars, film screenings, theater performances, and many other events.
