President Luong Cuong works with the Office of the President on key tasks in the coming time.

On the afternoon of June 2, at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong chaired a working session with the Office of the President on work in May 2025 and key tasks in June 2025. Also attending was Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

After listening to the report and comments, President Luong Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Office of the President in performing its work in recent times.

Pointing out that in recent months, the large volume of work, wide scope, requiring coordination from many sectors, levels, and agencies in the political system, the President emphasized: The Office of the President has proactively focused on leading, directing, and successfully organizing the 6th meeting of the National Defense and Security Council for the 2021-2026 term, contributing to properly performing the tasks and powers of the President as prescribed by the Constitution; coordinating and providing thoughtful advice on activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and a number of other key tasks in a spirit of urgency and responsibility, ensuring timely response to the country's political requirements and tasks.

The President assessed that the Office has coordinated, advised, and served the President in successfully implementing domestic and foreign affairs activities, contributing to concretizing major policies and guidelines of the Party and State; consolidating the great national unity bloc; protecting national and ethnic interests; and at the same time strengthening and expanding friendly cooperation relations with other countries, partners, and traditional friends, thereby enhancing Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena.

Regarding the direction of work tasks in June and the coming time, the President requested the Office to continue to focus highly on and effectively implement comprehensive tasks on domestic and foreign affairs. The Office of the President reviewed and proactively developed a coordination plan, conducted a preliminary review of key tasks in the first 6 months of the year and developed a specific plan to implement tasks in the last 6 months of the year. The Office needs to proactively coordinate closely with relevant agencies and localities to advise and serve the President in implementing Decision No. 284-QD/TW of the Politburo on assigning Politburo members and Party Central Committee Secretaries to direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Central Conference of the 13th tenure, ensuring quality, progress and timely reporting to the Politburo.

The President requested that in line with the direction of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies, the Party Committee of the Office of the President needs to seriously review and complete all preparatory work according to requirements and successfully organize the 9th Congress of the Office of the President Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030; after the Congress, urgently perfect the organization, assign tasks to the Standing Committee, Party Committee and Party Committee Inspection Committee, and submit to competent authorities for approval of the Congress results.

In addition, the President requested the Office of the President to coordinate in carefully preparing documents and content to serve the Vice President in his capacity as Head of the Organizing Committee of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress; proactively propose to the State leaders key issues that need to be resolved in the fields of domestic and foreign affairs, national defense, security, Party building, socio-economic development; pay attention to people's lives, promote the strength of great national unity in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
