Implemented regularly and systematically, the movement has attracted a large number of farmers to participate, with more than 200,000 households registering annually, of which nearly 30,000 households have achieved the title of good farmer-business households at all levels, contributing to promoting local socio -economic development. By 2025, the whole province will have 29,289 households achieving the title of good farmer-business households at all levels; of which, 125 households will achieve the title of good farmer-business households at all levels; of which, 125 households will achieve the title of Central level, with an average income of 1.6 billion VND/year; 1,327 households will achieve the title of provincial level, with an average income of 500 million VND/year; 27,837 households will achieve the title of commune-level households, with an average income of 120 million VND/year. These impressive numbers show the attraction and far-reaching influence of the good farmer-business movement, reflecting the development of the farmer and rural economy in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy.
From the movement, many typical examples of farmers have emerged, representing the spirit of hard work, creativity, self-reliance and self-improvement. Typical examples are good farming households, farm owners and directors of agricultural enterprises, who have made positive contributions to the economic development and life in the locality. They are the typical people, representing a new generation of professional and modern farmers in the renovation period - daring to think, daring to do, having the will to rise up to get rich, dynamically creative and boldly applying science and technology to large-scale production to achieve high economic efficiency.
Many value chain linkage models between good production and business households - cooperatives - enterprises have been formed and replicated. Farm models, concentrated production areas, high-tech applications, production according to VietGAP standards, organic, combining product consumption and digital transformation are developing strongly, contributing to improving productivity, quality, product value, increasing competitiveness and being in line with the trend of modern agriculture and urban agriculture. The collective economy has also had a clear change with the establishment and active operation of branches, professional associations, 105 enterprises, 769 cooperatives, 132 cooperatives, and good production and business farmer clubs. These factors have contributed significantly to promoting the agricultural restructuring process and increasing the value of agricultural products in the province.
Not only bringing economic benefits, the movement also strongly spreads the spirit of solidarity and mutual love in the community. The association at all levels has mobilized members and farmers to help with capital, food, goods, plants and seeds worth more than 186 billion VND and more than 239,000 working days for more than 40,270 farming households; created jobs on the spot for nearly 1.2 million workers, of which nearly 1 million workers have regular jobs, more than 195,000 workers have seasonal jobs; supported more than 89,000 farming households to escape poverty. Many good farming households are willing to share their experiences, directly "hold hands and show them how to do things", helping poor households develop production, create jobs and stabilize their lives. The spirit of "helping each other get rich, reducing poverty sustainably" has become a profound human beauty, connecting the rural community.

The shrimp and crab farming model of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Van's family in Truong Van commune brings high economic efficiency.
In particular, the movement has contributed to honoring typical examples, affirming the intelligence, bravery and creativity of farmers. Typical examples include: the comprehensive farm model, bringing high-yield, high-quality crop varieties into production of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung's family (Van Du commune); the model of afforestation, beekeeping for honey under the canopy of old forests, growing medicinal plants of turmeric, ginger, and mulberry using organic methods of Ms. Nguyen Le Ngoc Linh's family (Hoa Quy commune); the model of expanding the seafood processing industry of Ms. Le Thi Lieu's family (Hai Hoa ward); the model of growing high-quality flowers and fruits in greenhouses and net houses of Mr. Nguyen Van Dieu's family (Ho Vuong commune); the model of growing grapes combined with experiential tourism of Mr. Hoang Thanh Minh's family (Dong Tien commune); The automatic egg-laying chicken farming model of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Minh's family (Quang Phu ward)... Not only enriching their families, these farmers also contribute to changing the local agricultural structure, spreading the spirit of daring to think and dare to do in the community. They are living proof of the image of the new farmer: dynamic, creative, integrated and aspiring to rise up.
Along with that, many collectives and individuals of the movement were honored with noble titles such as "Farmer Scientist", "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer"; many cooperatives were recognized as outstanding nationwide. In particular, in the "Farmer Technical Innovation" Contest, Thanh Hoa farmers won many important awards, contributing to affirming the intelligence, bravery and creativity of Thanh Hoa farmers. Hundreds of typical provincial agricultural products and OCOP products were recognized and upgraded, affirming the Thanh Hoa agricultural product brand in the market.
Practice has confirmed that the movement “Good Farmers in Production and Business” is not only an important driving force for household economic development, but also the nucleus for building the great national unity bloc, contributing to the sustainable development of Thanh Hoa agriculture and rural areas. This is also a solid foundation for the Provincial Farmers’ Association to continue promoting the movement in the coming period, integrating elements of digital transformation, green agriculture, circularity, modernity and international integration.
The results achieved have affirmed the movement's enduring vitality, spread and profound significance. From the spirit of creative labor, solidarity and affection, Thanh Hoa farmers today are continuing to write the story of a new generation of farmers: brave, intelligent, integrated, contributing to building a rich, beautiful and civilized homeland.
According to the 2025-2030 period plan, the Provincial Farmers' Association sets specific goals: - Every year, 100% of union units at all levels launch and organize conferences to summarize, evaluate and reward the movement of good farmers and good businessmen; and units that organize good movements. - Every year, 70% or more of farming households register to become good production and business households, of which 50% or more of registered households achieve the title of good production and business at all levels. - 95% or more of farmers are informed and learn the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; and receive scientific and technical training. - Improve the qualifications and skills of 1,000 excellent farmers and good farmers in production and business at commune level and above.
Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Policy Bank: Continue to promote the effectiveness of policy credit capital sources In recent times, the Provincial Social Policy Bank has played a very important role in promoting the movement of good production and business among farmer members. The social credit policy has helped farmers access preferential loans with low and stable interest rates, long loan periods according to the production and business cycle, creating opportunities for people to expand production scale, innovate technology, apply advanced farming techniques, improve production efficiency, and create motivation for sustainable production development. Up to now, the outstanding balance of social policy credit programs entrusted through the Farmers' Association has reached 4,492 billion VND, with 69,874 members borrowing capital from 1,905 savings and loan groups. Outstanding balance entrusted through the Farmers' Association accounts for 28.9% of the total outstanding balance entrusted through association organizations in the province. Along with capital support activities, the bank also closely coordinates with association organizations at all levels to propagate and disseminate credit policies, helping farmer members to have full access to information and convenient access to loans, creating momentum for the movement of good production and business to develop more and more strongly, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province. In order for policy credit capital to continue to be effective in the coming time, the bank will continue to strengthen its close relationship with the Farmers' Association, improve the capacity of staff at the grassroots level, and create the most favorable conditions for farmers when they need to borrow capital. At the same time, innovate working methods, shorten the time to process loan applications; strengthen consultation and guidance for farmers in using loans effectively, avoiding bad debt or financial waste. Promote the application of information technology in coordination work, create online connection channels, help farmer members easily access information on credit programs, loan procedures, as well as support policies, helping to save time for farmers, creating transparency and clarity in capital disbursement. In addition, the Provincial Social Policy Bank will coordinate with the Farmers' Association to organize training courses on capital management skills, as well as share effective production and business models, helping farmer members not only have capital but also have knowledge and skills to maximize the efficiency of using loan capital. Focus on evaluating the results of implementing credit programs, thereby making timely adjustments to enhance coordination efficiency, ensuring that policy credit capital truly becomes a practical support tool for the sustainable development of the farming community in Thanh Hoa province. Vu Thi Thanh Xuan, Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Farmers' Working Committee: Strengthening propaganda work and supporting farmers In recent times, the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" has contributed to arousing the spirit of solidarity, helping each other get rich and reduce poverty of farmers in the province, affirming the role of the owner of agricultural development and new rural construction. To make the movement more and more effective, the Thanh Hoa Farmers' Association will continue to direct all levels of the association to strengthen propaganda and support farmers in developing production and business. Strengthen support activities for farmers in both production methods and industry and profession orientation; support farmers in linking production through guiding the construction of cooperative and cooperative models to produce agricultural products according to the value chain. Actively coordinate with sectors to acquire and transfer the application of scientific and technical advances for farmers to develop production; promote linkages between "4 houses"; guide farmers to link and cooperate in groups of households producing the same type of product in the direction of commodity production. At the same time, support farmers in promoting trade and product consumption; provide legal advice and legal aid so that farmers understand and comply with the law. The association's activities should be more strongly oriented towards the grassroots, closely connected, and have a firm grasp of the thoughts and aspirations of members and farmers, especially farmers in remote, border, and particularly difficult areas; helping members to be more proactive and confident in labor, production, and life organization, replicating typical examples, creating a spread and attracting a large number of members and farmers to participate. Creating favorable conditions for all levels of the association to participate in implementing programs, projects, and plans for socio-economic development in the locality... In addition, the association will focus on gathering and attracting farmers and members into clubs, professional associations, and professional groups to create a premise for developing collective economic models; promoting linkages, cooperation, and developing value chain models to expand production scale, increase product strength and competitiveness in the market, contributing to the successful implementation of poverty reduction and new rural development goals. Nguyen Trung Tru, Sales Director 1, Tien Nong Agricultural and Industrial Joint Stock Company: Always a reliable companion of farmers Over the years, Tien Nong Agricultural Joint Stock Company has not only been a brand name in the production and supply of fertilizers, but also a trusted companion of Thanh Hoa farmers in particular and Vietnamese farmers in general. Originating from a small factory in Thanh Hoa in 1995, Tien Nong has continuously grown and expanded its scale. Up to now, the Tien Nong brand has developed into a leading unit in the field of plant nutrition in Vietnam with a modern factory system, a nationwide distribution network and a team of experienced staff. The company constantly innovates products and improves technology to meet the increasing needs of farmers. In Tien Nong's development strategy, farmers are always the focus, listening and understanding to provide plant nutrition solutions suitable for each land area and each type of crop. Tien Nong branded fertilizer products have helped increase productivity, improve the quality of agricultural products and optimize economic efficiency for farmers. Not only stopping at producing and supplying products, Tien Nong and farmers' associations at all levels coordinate to synchronously implement technical support activities, such as: building demonstration models, organizing field workshops, training courses on technology transfer... These activities help people update knowledge, apply new technology in production, thereby improving productivity, effectively using input resources and increasing the value of agricultural products. Tien Nong's agricultural engineers are regularly present in the fields to guide, provide technical advice, and work with farmers in agricultural production. With the goal of becoming a leading corporation in the field of plant nutrition and high-tech agricultural development, Tien Nong commits that all input materials and output products are strictly analyzed and inspected and accompany farmers to solve difficulties in land, weather, crops, etc. Not only providing products, Tien Nong is also a pioneer in researching and experimenting with specialized NPK product lines, organic microbial NPK, both improving productivity and protecting soil health, the environment, public health and sustainable development. The road ahead is full of challenges but also promises many opportunities. Tien Nong will continue to be steadfast in its mission, providing outstanding plant nutrition solutions, contributing to building a modern, sustainable and competitive agriculture. Nguyen Xuan Thien, Director of Dong Tien Agricultural Service Cooperative: Support concentrated commodity production areas Dong Tien Agricultural Service Cooperative is one of the pioneering cooperatives in the country in applying circular agriculture, multi-purpose agriculture and value chain linkage to develop a sustainable economic model. Along with production, the cooperative also focuses on developing value chains, signing stable consumption contracts with supermarkets, clean food stores, restaurants in and outside the province; at the same time, boldly applying digital transformation in agriculture, managing production processes, tracing product origin, ensuring quality and transparency - key factors to move towards export. With the above solutions, the agricultural products of the Cooperative not only have stable output but also build a prestigious brand, trusted by consumers. Currently, each year, the Cooperative supplies the market with 120 tons of Kim Hoang Hau melon, 70 tons of baby cucumbers and leafy vegetables, 60 tons of tomatoes and tens of thousands of Phalaenopsis orchids to serve the Tet holiday. After deducting expenses, the profit reaches 2.5 - 3 billion VND/year, creating jobs and stable income for dozens of local workers. To create favorable conditions for cooperatives in general and Dong Tien Agricultural Service Cooperative in particular to operate, the State needs to have specific regulations on land accumulation and concentration; have open mechanisms and policies, giving greater autonomy to people to be allocated land, lease land to develop large-scale specialized commodity production. In addition, the authorities need to continue to do a better job of estimating and forecasting market demand; strengthen trade promotion with other countries to expand export markets for Thanh Hoa agricultural products. Create favorable conditions for good farmers, cooperatives, and cooperative groups to access consumer market information, prioritize and have policies to support concentrated commodity production areas, build product brands, promote and introduce high-quality agricultural products. Le Van Than, Good Production and Business Household in Vi Thon Village, Thieu Hoa Commune: Linking together for development Born and raised in a purely agricultural countryside, I have been attached to farming since childhood. The ups and downs of farming from the joy of a bountiful harvest, the strong smell of the soil, the fragrance of rice and the salty taste of sweat and tears are all imprinted in my mind. My hometown is favorable for irrigation so it is considered easy to produce rice, however, growing rice does not bring much income to the people, so I always cherish the ambition of how to increase the value of my hometown's rice. Up to now, I have invested nearly 40 billion VND in purchasing vehicles and machinery for production and business. Not only creating jobs for local workers and contributing taxes to the State, I also coordinate with the Agricultural Service Cooperative and the Commune Farmers' Association to organize links for farmers to grow rice in chains. This is a production process that is applied regularly and organically. After harvest, all rice growing areas are used with biological products to treat straw and stubble, and the fertilizer source is used scientifically, mainly organic plant nutrients, friendly to the environment. With this production process, people do not have to worry about the burden of initial investment, do not have to worry much when harvesting in the rain, not being able to dry the rice, and especially the purchase price of agricultural products is consistent with the market price. Not satisfied with the achievements, I am always wondering how to help farmers in my hometown have a better life. My direction is to make Thanh rice have a brand like famous products in other hometowns, contributing my small part to build ecological agriculture, modern countryside, civilized farmers. During the period of 2020-2025, I supported over 5 billion VND to build a communal house; donated teaching equipment to secondary schools; supported new rural construction; supported housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the district; and helped 5 households escape poverty. Along with the organic production process, the company has also applied digital transformation in business. With the support of the Provincial and Commune Farmers’ Associations and training courses, the company has successfully applied digital transformation to rice trading. Products are put on many e-commerce platforms, thanks to which the following year’s revenue increased compared to previous years.
