Thanh Hoa supports the Cuban people with more than 21 billion VND

According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross, after more than 2 months of launching (from August 14 to October 16, 2025), the Program to mobilize support for the Cuban people on the occasion of the "65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba" deployed in the province has recorded an impressive number of more than 21 billion VND in support from nearly 7,000 groups and individuals.

The program to support the Cuban people on the occasion of the "65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba" was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross on August 13, 2025. Immediately after launching, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross issued many documents and plans to promote communication, calling on organizations and individuals to donate and support the Cuban people. Thanks to that, the program has spread strongly with positive responses from officials and people throughout the province.

The program was widely deployed throughout the province and ended on October 16, 2025. Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society received donations of more than VND 21,436,645,142 from nearly 7,000 individuals and groups through the Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society's receiving channel. The entire amount received was transferred by Thanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society to the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society according to regulations.

With the above results, at the Campaign Summary Ceremony organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Thanh Hoa province was the locality with the highest results among the non-merged localities and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee.
