The focus of the event is the music festival on May 31, but before enjoying the music of Ha Anh Tuan, Den, Phan Manh Quynh, Vu., Vu Cat Tuong..., the audience will go through the Heritage Road displaying and recreating the rich history of this land. That is the space displaying Vietnamese ancient costumes, the traditional silk craft village of Nha Xa as well as the area recreating prehistoric images that once appeared in the Ninh Binh cave system. In addition, creative products connecting the past and the present are also present, such as stone art products, wooden hairpins... inspired by the images of dragons, phoenixes... at the Temple of King Dinh, the palace in the capital city of Hoa Lu...

Standing on the Forestival stage , looking down at the sea of people still passionately joining in my music at midnight, I felt moved and very happy. More than 20,000 audiences from all over the world came to the heart of Trang An heritage of Ninh Binh, of Vietnam, of the world . My talented fellow artists joined the audience in planting forests at Cuc Phuong National Park and raised their music with the declaration to protect heritage and nature at all costs. There is only one thing that can bind everyone into such a big embrace: that is the belief in what is beautiful, what must be done. I believe in the long, far and brilliant journey ahead of Forestival , the meeting place of Vietnamese music, freedom and patriotism.

Held on Khe Coc Island surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, Forestival is a green, environmentally friendly festival. With a dual mission: honoring heritage values and stimulating tourism potential, the event helped Ninh Binh welcome more than 20,000 visitors. At the end of May, famous places such as Hoa Lu ancient town, Cuc Phuong National Park, Hang Mua... witnessed a surge in the number of visitors, while Tam Coc, Bai Dinh... were also selected.
During the two days of the event, 1,000 young ebony and chò chỉ trees were planted in 0.7 hectares of land that needed to be restored in Thung Bong, Cuc Phuong National Park, bringing the total number of new trees planted by the Vietnam Forest Community Project to 33,000. " Forestival is a unique journey, connecting music, nature and the community with a heart that loves the forest," said Mr. Le Phuong Trieu, Deputy Director of Cuc Phuong National Park.
At the same time, with the main identifying image being the Delacour’s langur, one of the five rare primate species in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world, Forestival also contributes to honoring the silent people who are constantly preserving this creature. On behalf of the organizing committee, Ha Anh Tuan said that the artists and audiences of Forestival 2025 will contribute 500 million VND to Save Vietnam's Wildlife to restore and protect this species.
Forestival positions "Heart of Heritage"
Sharing with Thanh Nien , Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, said: " Forestival is not just a single or short-term event, but a long-term and in-depth strategy, identified by Ninh Binh province as a key development direction in the process of building a "Millennium Heritage City", towards a creative city - an international tourist city by 2030 and vision to 2050".
Mr. Tung added that Forestival is developed by the province and its partners as a high-end integrated tourism - art product, with an orientation towards extensive international cooperation. That is, inviting internationally influential artists, directors, musicians, international sculptors - painters to participate in composing in Ninh Binh; organizing international performance programs - such as the concert The Legend in the Legacy right at the heritage area to attract the attention of the media and international visitors; global media promoting the film Heart of Heritage (on international flights/television/social networks); inviting famous travel bloggers, international conservationists, Hollywood directors who have been associated with Ninh Binh to participate in filming, media...
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism to preside over and coordinate with Viet Vision and partners to implement the Forestival project according to a 5-year commitment (2025 - 2030), with the goal of building Ninh Binh into a leading cultural - artistic - tourist destination in Asia, not only a place to visit, but also a place to create and spread heritage values; promote the cultural industry and heritage economy, create new added value for sustainable development; create an important premise for Ninh Binh to participate in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, especially in the fields of music, cinema, multimedia arts; position the brand "Heart of Heritage" as a new cultural - artistic - tourism symbol of Vietnam on the international map.
