Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Quang Ninh District Nguyen Quang Tuyen said that Farmers' Associations at all levels in the area have flexibly and creatively implemented propaganda, mobilization and orientation work for members and farmers to promote the advantages and natural conditions of the locality and the State's support policies to transform the structure of crops and livestock towards commodity production, bringing valuable plants and breeds into livestock and cultivation; focusing on building family economic models for high income.
In order for the movement of good production and business to truly spread, every year, the Farmers' Association of Quang Ninh district has proactively coordinated with functional agencies to open training courses to transfer scientific and technical advances to farmers; organize study tours and build demonstration models of new plants and breeds; improve techniques, support production materials; organize well service activities to support farmers, creating all conditions for farmers to promote production development. In 2024, the whole district has 597 households achieving the title of good production and business farmers at the provincial level and 24 households achieving the title of good production and business farmers at the district level. Typical models, such as: Raising mud-free eels, black apple snails, growing Thai custard apples, raising snakehead fish, etc.
In order to promote the emulation movement of good production and business development, in the coming time, the Farmers' Association of Quang Ninh district will continue to mobilize members to boldly produce high-yield, high-quality plant and animal varieties suitable for local climate conditions; apply science and technology, especially digital technology in production...
