Many new experiences in Cat Ba ( Hai Phong )

Cat Ba Island, located in the southeast of Ha Long Bay, Hai Phong City, is a famous destination with natural beauty, beautiful beaches and diverse ecosystems.

June marks the start of the peak tourist season in Cat Ba. Jetski fireworks, Vui-Fest night market, beachside restaurants and green transport routes are new experiences in Cat Ba.

In addition, visitors can also trek Cat Ba National Park, explore Viet Hai fishing village, row boats, and swim in Lan Ha Bay.

To avoid crowds while waiting for the ferry in Cat Ba, visitors should consider choosing a cable car combined with a bus instead of a private vehicle.

Late plum season in Moc Chau

Normally, Moc Chau plums are ripe from the beginning of May, but this year due to unusual weather, the plum valleys are just entering the peak harvest season. Some prominent plum picking spots include Na Ka valley, Mu Nau, Phieng Khoang, Nong Truong town or small plum gardens near the town center.

Entrance fees to the garden range from 30,000 to 50,000 VND per person. The price of early-season plums ranges from 50,000 to 70,000 VND/kg depending on the time.

Moc Chau is an ideal place for summer vacation thanks to its cool climate, from 20 - 25 degrees Celsius. Tourists can combine visiting tea hills, Ban Ang pine forest, Dai Yem waterfall, Hang Tau primitive village, and enjoy specialties of salmon and sturgeon.

In the hot summer, the average outdoor temperature is from 27 - 37 degrees Celsius, but in the caves in Quang Binh and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, the air is cool, fresh, and the temperature is stable from 22 - 25 degrees Celsius. For more than half of the trekking time, visitors mainly move under the canopy of trees or in the cave. In particular, when participating in the summer tour, visitors can comfortably swim in streams, underground lakes in the cave and at the campsite.

In summer, the area around the caves, the flora thrives, creating a lush natural environment. High temperatures promote biodiversity, creating conditions for plant species to reproduce and develop. Visitors can listen to birds singing, watch colorful butterflies flying around during the trekking journey.

Beaches in the North and Central regions

In June, while some coastal areas such as Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Nam Du begin the rainy season, beaches in the North and Central regions are at their most beautiful. Dry weather, little rain and diverse natural landscapes make beaches such as Quan Lan, Co To, Cat Ba, Ha Long, Sam Son, Cua Lo, Thien Cam, Nhat Le, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, Quy Nhon, Phu Yen, Nha Trang, Mui Ne... always crowded with tourists.

Each destination has started to have many summer tourism programs to attract visitors such as Sam Son street carnival, Da Nang fireworks festival, Nha Trang beach tourism cultural festival.

Note, June begins the peak domestic tourism season, visitors need to book air tickets and hotels early to avoid crowds and high prices.

White Nights is an astronomical phenomenon that occurs in subpolar regions where the Sun does not set completely at night, creating a prolonged twilight.

The White Nights in Saint Petersburg (Russia) usually take place in June, peaking on the summer solstice (June 21-22), when the nights are shortest and brightest. The city remains lit up at night, creating the feeling of "the day never ends".

Landmarks such as Nevsky Prospekt, Winter Palace Square, the Neva River, and the Gulf of Finland light up at night. The Gulf of Finland is said to be the best place to view the White Nights, when the water reflects light like a mirror at midnight.

Vietnam Airlines has reopened flights with 2 flights per week since early May. Tours to Russia have been running normally, with 7-8 day tours costing between 50-60 million VND/person.
