According to updated data from the Information Technology Center, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, by the end of May 31, Hai Duong had disbursed more than VND 4,200 billion in public investment capital, reaching 37.4% of the plan assigned by the province, 40.7% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, higher than the national average (the national average reached 22.2%) and exceeding 0.4% compared to the 2025 scenario plan of the Provincial People's Committee.
Some projects with high disbursement rates include: Renovation and upgrading of Road 395 (section from km16+750 - km23+920) and the approach road to Cay bridge, the bypass road through the residential area of Long Xuyen commune (Binh Giang), reaching 94.4% of the total investment; Construction of Kinh Mon river overpass and the approach road connecting the interchange with National Highway 5, reaching 57.3% of the total investment; Investment in the construction of the interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway, reaching 48.3% of the total investment; Investment in the construction of the road and Van bridge connecting National Highway 37, Chi Linh city with the approach road to Trieu bridge, Kinh Mon town, reaching 37.4% of the total investment...
Some localities have high public investment disbursement rates such as Tu Ky at 68.3%, Ninh Giang at 53.7%, Binh Giang at 44.3%...
According to the Department of Finance, the disbursement results in the first 5 months of the year in Hai Duong basically followed the plan and scenario. Departments, branches, units, localities and investors are actively speeding up the progress of completing investment preparation procedures; establishing, appraising and approving project designs and estimates; implementing site clearance; organizing contractor selection, signing contracts and construction. Disbursement for eligible projects and items is also being urgently implemented.
According to the report of the Ministry of Finance , in the first 5 months of 2025, the whole country disbursed more than 199,000 billion VND, reaching 22.2% of the plan, reaching 24.1% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister. 10 ministries, branches and 39 localities had disbursement rates reaching the national average; 37 ministries, branches and 24 localities had disbursement rates below the national average.
