Not only singing live 100% with the band and orchestra, giving his all with vibrant performances that captivate the audience, Soobin also plays a series of musical instruments himself: piano, keyboard and monochord - a traditional instrument deeply associated with his artistic journey.

In particular, the Xam performance “Muc Ha Vo Nhan”, combined with the male artist’s father - People’s Artist Huynh Tu and rapper Binz, is a vivid proof of Soobin’s versatility and breakthrough artistic thinking. For the first time, this ancient Xam melody was renewed to be performed on a large-scale modern concert stage - something that not every artist dares to do.

Xam is a traditional music genre with a strong narrative tone, often performed on the streets of the past, with a high folk character and requiring a deep cultural perception. Bringing Xam into a public space like a concert, combined with modern music, is a bold decision but executed convincingly.

Behind this unique performance is Soobin's deep understanding of folk music - an artist who grew up in a traditional artistic family, inspired by his father, a folk music artist - People's Artist Huynh Tu. That helps Soobin preserve the original spirit of the Xam melody, while Music Director SlimV plays an important role in transforming the work to fit the overall structure of the program. This smooth combination of tradition and modernity has opened up a new and closer approach for folk music to the general audience - especially the young generation.
