In Van Lien residential area, Van Phu ward, Lao Cai province, more than 100 officers and soldiers from the 355th Division (Military Region 2); the 121st Regiment, Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, along with police, militia, and a large number of local people, actively participated in clearing weeds, dredging canals, and collecting mud, soil, and waste, transporting them to designated collection areas in accordance with regulations.

The coordinated forces cleaned village roads and alleys; supported local authorities in reinforcing some essential infrastructure items, contributing to improving the living conditions of the people ahead of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

The weekend outreach program with the people in Van Phu ward, Lao Cai province, saw the participation of numerous officers and soldiers from the 355th Division, Military Region 2.

According to Colonel Nguyen Cong Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the 355th Division, every year, in preparation for the New Year, the Party Committee and the Division's command always proactively coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and forces in the area to organize many practical and effective activities to help the people.

The focus was on cleaning village roads and alleys, dredging irrigation canals in the fields, and giving gifts to families entitled to preferential treatment and those who have contributed to the revolution, thereby contributing to consolidating the people's trust in the area where the troops are stationed.

The Division's Political Commissar affirmed that activities to assist the people are an important solution to strengthen military-civilian solidarity, creating a solid foundation for the unit to successfully complete its assigned political tasks.

A large number of people from Van Phu ward, Lao Cai province, participated in labor alongside the soldiers.

This is also a regular part of the unit's civilian outreach work, and the Party Committee and the Division's command have identified it as a responsibility and expression of the soldiers' affection for the people.

Through this activity, the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers continues to spread widely, contributing to building a strong political foundation, maintaining stability in the area, and creating favorable conditions for the socio -economic development of the locality.
