From honest sharing
On a famous forum specializing in reviewing culinary experiences on the social networking platform Facebook, with just one keyword, it is not difficult to realize that recently, Cua Lo is one of the favorite addresses of young people. From here, many dishes are discovered and shared, many dining addresses become famous.

In his post, Facebooker Hoang Hai (Vinh City) shared: “Because I love the charcoal grilled meat here so much, I go to Cua Lo several times a month, even though my house is 20 km away from Cua Lo. No matter how many places I eat in Vinh City, I can't beat the appeal here. The meat is marinated well, the thick slices are grilled until chewy, crispy, and very satisfying to chew. The restaurant also has noodles so I get full quickly.” The post quickly received hundreds of positive comments. Many people agreed that charcoal grilled meat is tastier and sweeter than pan-grilled meat or gas-grilled meat like in Vinh City. The cool air of the Cua Lo sea breeze in the fall and winter is especially suitable for enjoying grilled and hot pot dishes.
Facebooker Hoang Linh (Vinh City) was impressed with Cua Lo cuisine through another typical dish: “My whole family went to Cua Lo to play and stayed overnight. Early in the morning, the hotel owner showed us to the restaurant across the street to eat. This restaurant has the advantage of a rich and varied menu, spacious and cool space, reasonable prices, and dishes served quite quickly. After finishing the meal, everyone in my family praised the delicious taste, the large amount of food, the naturally sweet broth, and the fresh meat and mushrooms.”

From her own experience, Hoang Linh shared more about a seafood restaurant with many delicious and unique dishes, such as lobster blood pudding with a unique taste, sour and rich herring salad, fragrant white fish meat, snails with butter sauce served with bread, very suitable for children...
Cua Lo seafood salad is one of the dishes that is shared a lot on this forum. Facebooker Tran Ngoc emphasized: “Seafood must be fresh and delicious to be able to make salad. Besides the fragrant and delicious herring salad, the delicious and chewy grouper salad is also extremely attractive.”
All of the above posts are accompanied by photos, video clips of the dishes, the restaurant space and public payment receipts. Notably, in addition to the posts in the general community group, there are also many forums specifically sharing about Cua Lo cuisine. In these forums, members post and share experiences very enthusiastically and positively. Those genuine shares have partly created the attraction of the Cua Lo culinary "map" in recent years.

Having lived and worked in Cua Lo town for 3 years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh - a teacher at a school in the town shared: "If before, I often had to wait until the weekend to go to Vinh city to hang out and eat with friends, now Cua Lo has a full range of dishes for us to choose from. If before, we thought that Vinh city cooked better, now many of my friends like to invite each other to Cua Lo because the food here is fresher and more affordable."
Sharing the same opinion, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa - a tourist from Hanoi said: "In the past, every time I went to Cua Lo, my family had a headache looking for a place to have breakfast, often having to go to Vinh City to enjoy eel soup. But in the past 2 years, Cua Lo has had reputable addresses serving this dish, with reasonable prices and flavors that are not inferior to the famous eel restaurants in Vinh City. Pho also has options with quality that is not inferior to Hanoi pho".
Connecting experiences and emotions
Evaluating the quality of service in recent years, tourist Nguyen Huu Hoa (Hanoi) said: “The thoughtfulness, dedication, and openness of service providers are the plus points of Cua Lo Town in recent years. In addition to transparency and honesty in prices and services, many restaurants are also very enthusiastic in advising on places to eat and play, creating conditions for guests to have the best experiences. Thanks to the connections of local people, our trip was diverse in experiences at affordable prices.”

Sharing about the advantages of eating in Cua Lo Town, Ms. Ngo Thi Tuyet (Vinh City) confided: “Cua Lo has a small area and not many people, so it is easy for people to remember each other, get to know each other and chat easily. After only 2-3 times coming to the restaurant, you will become a regular customer. The initial greetings are just polite, but over time they will turn into care and affection. Even though I don’t live here, I am still a regular customer of many restaurants, that’s why.”
People in Cua Lo Town have been and are knowing how to exploit their advantages to enrich their culinary experiences. Service complexes are one of the new features of Cua Lo Town recently. Accordingly, in addition to providing food and beverage services, restaurant owners will combine entertainment and accommodation services following the trend of young people. Typical examples of this type of service are Glamping Tia To, Rainbow Container... This approach not only exploits tourism in the summer but also attracts tourists who want to relax at many other times of the year.

Ms. Le Hoai Phuong from Hanoi shared: “Because I wanted to change the experience, last summer, instead of booking a traditional hotel, I took my family camping in Cua Lo town. The campsite we booked had a restaurant, a cafe and a live music show on weekends, set up and run by young people who are very passionate about tourism. After this trip, I decided to come back here in the coming months to support these young people. Moreover, the experience of walking on the beach in winter, enjoying the music space with a flickering campfire will bring a very different feeling…”.
