Sun Group starts construction of hot mineral resort complex worth over 21,000 billion VND in Hoa Binh

On the afternoon of June 26, in Kim Boi and Lac Son districts (Hoa Binh province), Sun Group Corporation coordinated with local authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the largest hot mineral resort complex in the North with a scale of 584.73 hectares, total investment of up to more than 21,000 billion VND.

In phase 1, the complex was implemented with 3 key projects, including: Eco-urban complex, high-class entertainment and Cuoi Ha cable car system; New rural residential area, resettlement infrastructure and housing Quy Hoa; Serena Resort expanded resort , mineral bath, entertainment area, with a total area of ​​over 240 hectares, including more than 2,500 villas, townhouses combined with commerce, resort villas... with a modern entertainment system, synchronous infrastructure.

The projects are built with the vision of bringing a high-class resort urban area, scientifically and harmoniously combining architectural elements, maximizing the values ​​of Kim Boi hot mineral springs with the mountain landscape and fresh nature and cool temperature all year round at Thung Hill, which is considered the second Tam Dao of the North, even comparable to the Swiss Alps, to bring a living and resort space with unmatched values ​​for owners and visitors.

In particular, the project of the complex of ecological urban areas, high-class entertainment and the Cuoi Ha cable car system in Kim Boi has the largest scale of nearly 200 hectares, with a total investment of 6,656 billion VND. The project aims to form a space for entertainment, ecological resort and high-class hot springs, with 1,200 villas, 700 townhouses combined with commerce, connected with resort villas, high-class hotels managed by luxury brands in the world and modern entertainment complexes.

The overall project is divided into two sub-areas, the North and the South. In which, the North sub-area is oriented to develop into an ecological housing area, resort, lakeside villas, island villas, with the highlight being the landscape lake. The South will be an ecological housing area with diverse types. There will also be meeting and event areas along with a water park; central lake park, cultural village-style hotel, landscape park...

The highlight of this complex is the 4.5km Cuoi Ha cable car line, with the Kim Boi departure station inspired by the design of Muong stilt houses. The Doi Thung arrival station is designed with European inspiration, recreating a beautiful Swiss village on the mountain.

Located at an altitude of nearly 1,000m above sea level, Thung Hill has a cool climate all year round. With a pristine natural ecosystem, this place creates a fresh, quiet, oxygen-rich environment - extremely suitable for high-class resort activities, physical recovery and therapy. This will be the place to create a European-style resort space, featuring a "Hot Mineral Spring Park" possessing valuable Kim Boi mineral resources, emerging from ancient limestone layers, dating back about 250 million years, containing minerals that are especially good for health.

The park offers a unique mineral bath experience based on three major cultures: the Swiss Alps, Rome and Türkiye. The Roman mineral bath area fully recreates the traditional bathing journey with Frigidarium (cold), Tepidarium (warm), Caldarium (hot) and Laconium (super hot) pools, combined with an outdoor pool system, hydrotherapy area and a specialized Roman massage area using essential oils. The Turkish mineral bath area is designed as a traditional Hammam space, with an artistic light dome, dry, wet and hot stone saunas... In addition, there is a chain of outdoor mineral bath amenities, a rock cave pool, mud bath, cold sauna, a soaking pool for children and more than 30 mineral pools designed in the model of terraced fields typical of the Northwest.

The park offers a unique mineral bath experience inspired by three major cultures: the Swiss Alps, Romans and Türkiye.

Thung Hill is also designed to become a unique cultural and resort experience center, a place where the quintessence of traditional European craftsmanship and slow-living spirit converge, with a “Swiss craft village” offering a variety of traditional European experiences: from bakeries, cheese, chocolate, ceramics, to European-Vietnamese cooking classes, tea shops, village squares with clock towers and European-style churches. Interspersed with seasonal agricultural farms – Cao Phong orange orchards, Tan Lac grapefruit, plums, grapes, bee gardens, strawberry gardens and horse riding areas, children’s zoos. More than a resort destination, Thung Hill is where visitors can touch Europe in the heart of the Northwest, to slow down in the fresh, cool air all year round.
