Suzuki Fronx sets launch date in Vietnam, competitive price in the segment

The 2025 Suzuki Fronx small SUV model coming to Vietnam will be imported completely from Indonesia and promises to have a reasonable price compared to competitors in the same segment.

In May 2025, Suzuki Vietnam confirmed its plan to bring the new Fronx model to our country by the end of this year. Up to now, the specific launch schedule of Suzuki Fronx in the Vietnamese market has been revealed. Accordingly, Suzuki Fronx will be officially introduced to domestic customers on October 17, 2025.

The 2025 Suzuki Fronx will be imported completely from Indonesia. Positioned in the A-class SUV segment, Suzuki's new recruit will compete with rivals such as Kia Sonet and Toyota Raize. The car has a fairly small size with a length of 3,995 mm, a width of 1,765 mm, a height of 1,550 mm and a wheelbase of 2,520 mm.

The first is a 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine with the code K15B, which produces a maximum capacity of 105 horsepower and a maximum torque of 138 Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

The second is a 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine coded K15C, combined with mild hybrid technology Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) for the premium version. The petrol engine produces a maximum capacity of 101 horsepower and a maximum torque of 135 Nm.

The engine goes with an electric motor that adds 3.1 horsepower and 60 Nm along with a 6 Ah lithium-ion battery. In addition, there is a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The price of the Suzuki Fronx in Vietnam is still unknown. However, if following the tradition of the Suzuki brand, the Fronx is expected to have a quite competitive price in the segment.
